Skylar's Point Of View

Slowly tapping my pencil on the desk and tapping my foot was apparently annoying Mr. Scott as we took our final exam.

"Ms. Lance, please stop or I will send you into the hall" his gray mustache wrinkled as his lips pursed. I nodded and put my pencil down. My finger subconsciously began to tap on the desk as I studied the question. "Ms. Lance! Out now!"

Wow. What a temper today. It's not my fault it helps me think. I grabbed my backpack and walked out of the class before sliding down the wall onto my bum. I stood up and took a trip to the toilets and examined myself in the mirror.

Dark denim jeans, a navy tank top, and a white cardigan. Chestnut hair laid naturally wavy down my back and my green eyes popped with the freckles dotting my high cheek bones. Standing at five foot six was perfect for me. I definitely wasn't the prettiest girl but I didn't want to change who I was. I mean sure I had not one friend but that was because whenever someone tried to talk I turned them away. I've learned the hard way that the only people you can trust are Me, Myself, and I. I exited the toilets and made my way to my locker. Luckily reaching my destination before the bell rang causing teenagers to flood the halls. I couldn't help but over hear a little gossip. From what I heard from a group of girls a few feet away there was a new boy at Jefferson High who was hot but is a show off. Apparently he makes friends fast and is hilarious. A little cocky but super sweet. And is rapidly going up the flight of popularity stairs. And almost every girl wants him. Great, more people. Note the 100% sarcasm there.

I closed my locker and walked down the hall before feeling my phone buzz. I took it out of my pocket and read the text from my Mom. Watch Harry when you get home we won't be ... That's all I read until being impacted my something hard. I took a few steps back and looked up at the person I ran into. I've never seen him before. But he was cute. At impact we managed to drop phones. He must have also been on his. I knelt down before pocking up my white iPhone and mumbling a sorry before brushing past him and out of school to begin my walk home. Hmm man was that guy cute. Brown feathery hair.... Blue eyes.... Perfect. He seemed like a playful seventeen year old.

To bad Skylar! He'd be another person to trust.

I tediously walk home, one foot after another. I pull out my phone to see what my mum had sent me-because I never finished reading it. Pressing the unlock button I realized it was not my phone. The lock screen was a picture of the boy I ran into and a little girl about six. It buzzed and I looked down to see a text from his mum.

'Lukas, take Emily to dance today'

Uh oh. I accidentally took his phone. I took 'Lukas's' phone. And he needs to take this Emily girl to dance. How do I get it back to him?

Lukas's Point of View

I hopped into my car and started it. I was about to drive off when my phone buzzed. Glancing down at it in my lap I noticed the wall paper was different and on the screen displayed a message.

Mum: Skylar, Me and Lacy won't be home till next Wednesday. Business in Hawaii. Watch Harry. Love you

So that amazingly beautiful brunette I ran into in the hall is called Skylar. What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl. I slid on my sunglasses and drove down the road. How will I get it back to her? She has to know that her mum won't be home.

A brilliant idea popped into my head and I pulled over. I slid my finger across the screen praying it didn't have a pass code. Thank the lord!! I went to the messages and sent myself a quick message after adding my number into her contacts. What? I wanted to get to know her.

After getting a reply she told me her address and I drove that way. I pulled into a nice two story house with a strange light orange paint job. I parked in the drive way and knocked on the black painted door. Only seconds later the door was answered my a small boy around Emily's age with brown spiked hair.
