It was as if the sky was crushing against me.
I started trembling and tried to look anywhere but his face.
I was trembling really hard that the CEO noticed it.
He didn't take a glance at me which I was happy for.
She asked him to go and wait with the other directors in the other meeting room.
He left shortly after that.
I breathed hard.
Why?
Was the only thing on my mind.
"What's wrong?" She asked as she crouched in front of me.
"I-it's h-him.." I whispered.
"H-him? You don't mean..." She caught what I was talking about.
I told her.
I told she about him.
I told her about everything.
She was the one who helped me change my name. She was the one who helped me get this far. She knew everything.
"No way. Right? Are you sure?" She was also panicking.
"I would never forget him easily." My head was blank.
She stopped pacing around the room when something snapped in her head.
"H-he wouldn't k-know about her right?" She asked scared of the answered.
"N-no way." I panicked even more.
"I need to excuse myself. I'll go and make sure she's okay. Please forgive me this time." I got up ready and left her office.
I dashed to my car and started it fast.
I went full speed to my daughter's school.
I ran up to her class after I took permission to take her home.
I was talking to her home room teacher when she came running towards me.
"Mommy!" She ran happily into my arms.
I hugged her tight.
"I missed you." I told her feeling tears in my eyes.
She laughed and gave me a kiss.
I took her bag and left the school.
I was talking to Ella, the CEO.
"Do you think he knows about her?" She asked me afraid too
"I just hope he doesn't." I gulped down.
"You've changed a lot, I hope he doesn't remember you." She sighed.
"I hope too." I entered my daughter's room. She was asleep.
"What are you going to do if he asks about her?" She asked me.
"I'll say her father died a year ago or something." I shrugged.
"What if he asks for a DNA test?" She asked again.
"I'll run away." I answered confidently.
"I've been doing it for 3 years. It doesn't matter anymore." I answered nonchalantly.
She sighed on the other side of the telephone.
"I'll make sure you both don't have to meet." She assured me.
I thanked her and hung up.
I woke Amy up.
"Time for dinner." I smiled down at her.
She had his eyes.
Which scared me sometimes, but they were feminine and bright.
His were dark and scary.
I shuddered thinking about him again.
"What's for dinner?" She asked mispronouncing some letters.
I smiled and answered her
"Mac and cheese." Her favorite plate.
"I'm going to drop you at Jessie's house tomorrow." I told her as we ate our food.
"No school?" Her eyes brightened.
I nodded at her.
She started jumping and danced around.
Jessie was Ella's daughter.
Our daughters were the same age.
Jessie wasn't going to school these days because she had a flu. She's fine now.
I'll drop Amy at her house. I'll be a little but happier then her being at school.
He might find her at school.

The next day I dropped her at Ella's house and left to my own work.
Ella is probably at work already.
She leaves hours before I even leave.
I arrived at my work.
Hanged my coat and got everything ready.
I had nothing to do at the moment.
I went to the CEO's office.
"Good morning~" I playfully said and sat down in one of the chairs.
She smiled at me.
"Coffee?" She asked
"Please." I smiled and helped her prepare stuff.
"Did he come?" I asked lowering my voice.
"He's in his office at the moment." She told me worry in her eyes.
"You changed a lot. He also didn't show any reaction when he stared at you." She told me.
"I can never be safe. I'm always worried he'll come back." I told her tears collecting in my eyes.
She wiped them for me.
"He wouldn't dare do anything to you at work." She told me.
"If you're afraid of staying at your home. Stay with me at mine." She smiled.
"You're the best." I hugged her.
"You better leave fast. I have another meeting with the directors in 5 minutes." She said.
I nodded and left her office.
As I was leaving the office, I wasn't paying attention to my front. I was still waving at Ella. I slammed into someone, and almost ended falling, but the person caught me.
I heard Ella gasp.
I opened my eyes to see non other than him.
"Be careful, you may get hurt." He smiled at me.
It wasn't his scary smiles or smirks. It was a pure and innocent smile.
I was lost at words for awhile.
"Thank you.." I trailed off and looked anywhere but his face.
He let go of my waist and entered the room.
I felt dizzy and scared.
He didn't recognize me?
I couldn't help but wonder.
Ella was looking at me, asking with her eyes if I'm okay.
I nodded back at her, and went back to my office.
I looked at the glass thing that had my name.
•Liz Harts•
Liz Harts was my new name.
My daughter was Amy Harts.
I changed everything.
Even my nationality had changed to Australian.
I was no loner Jessica Cowell.
She died years ago.
I'm now Liz Harts.
I continued my work after that normally.
It was time for lunch.
I went to the CEO's office.
"Where do you wanna eat." I used slang whenever it was only us.
"The usual." She answered getting up and wearing her coat.
"Then let's go." I smiled and both of us left the company.
There was this cute cafe 2 blocks away from us.
We always have our lunch there.
We reached the cafe and sat in our usual places.
The waiter came and had our orders.
I had a salad, and Ella had the same.
I suffered a lot after giving birth.
So I need to keep my body fit.
We ate our lunch and chatted and made jokes.
I was very happy to have Ella as my closest friend.
"Aren't you thinking of having another child?" I asked knowing exactly her answer.
She looked at me with a deadly look.
I laughed out loud.
"I would never ever think about it again. I almost died in the ER." She flinched thinking about it.
"But you didn't." I shrugged my shoulders and resumed eating again.
One of our friends works here.
She came down and sat with us at the table.
"You're done with your work." I asked her.
"Yeah, a new owner bought the cafe." She said eating from our plates.
"Hey! Annie, that's mine." I tried taking the chicken piece from her but she had already eaten it.
"I hate you." I mumbled.
They both laughed.
"What's he like?" I asked her.
"He's handsome, but unfortunately married." She sighed.
We both laughed.
"Your luck sucks when it comes to men." Ella told her feeding her.
"Yeah yeah. Whatever." She mumbled.
"She's serious.  You're 26 and still single." I shook my head disappointed.
"You're 23 and already have a child." She mumbled.
I sticked my tongue out. "Not my fault."
She knows about everything too.
The door to the cafe ringed signaling the arrival of someone.
We all looked to see who is it.
"It's the new owner." Annie said.
I looked to see him, and I wish I didn't.
"It's Harry." I mumbled to both of them.
They looked at me terrified." What? Are you sure?" They both looked worried.
"I-I'm s-sure." I started having difficulty in breathing.
"Do you know his wife?" They both asked gulping.
I looked at her, and my eyes widened.
"T-that's Selena." I answered.
Tears were already in my eyes.
They were walking towards us.
"Hello ladies." Harry said smiling at us.
His facial expressions changed after staring at me.
"Jessica?" He asked.
