This is the first story I have ever written. I wrote it all the way back in sixth grade, and I made a series about it. This isn't my first Wattpad book, but I still consider this my first. It had gone through major editing since I first wrote it, but the plot is basically the same. Except for when I first wrote it, there wasn't really a plot.... I just sort of went with it. But now I know what I want to go on here.
The reason I am posting this is because I haven't seen too many books revolving around horses and riding. Even though I know there aren't many people on Wattpad that are fans of this particular subject, I will coninue to write it. This is my story, and I will write so people can understand me; Know who I am. This is me.

Sun rays shined brightly onto my already tan skin, as Florida's hot summer wind blew all around me. It pushed my curly blonde locks behind my shoulders, and the hair that once sheilded my face unveiled my bright blue eyes. The beauty before me was suddenly clearer, even though there was a haze from all the heat.
The filly grazed peacefully in the lush meadow; Her legs almost fully hidden by the tall grasses. The Thoroughbred in her veins was easy to see, from her long legs, to her lean body. It was obvious she was young, but even so, she was bigger than average.
"Aidan?" Momma's soft voice pulled me away from my trance, and I looked beside me to face her. Sweat trickled from her hairline, making her brunette hair appear greasy and almost black looking. She was sweating buckets.
"Yes momma?" I repositioned myself on the wooden fence to face her more easily.
"What are we going to do?" Daddy pushed himself away from the rail so he could see me. His blue eyes flicked from me to the salesman.
I looked back at the strawberry roan, and I pictured myself riding her. Images of showing first place at competitons flashed in the back of my mind. I could almost see it. Her powerful hind legs pushing off the ground, as she flew over the jump. Her forelegs tucked gracefully beneath her.
I didn't bother answering my parents. If they knew me, they would know just by the look in my eyes.
