[~Flashback~
"People of Woodbury! My name is Rick Grimes. Philip, the Governor, betrayed you! I'm here to take you back to my people. We have a safer place. Food, men, women, children, and I promise you can trust us. If you would like to come please load onto the bus." Speeched the man standing on the bus. "Why should we trust you?" I askdd asked eyeing Rick. The man with the crossbow gave me a look. Ricklooked at me and shook his head. "I don't know. Hope for survival? Maybe you shouldn't, " he started to speech again,"but it's not safe here. Why don't you all come for a week or two and anyone that wants to come back after that can." Everyone started talking amongst themselves. When the bus doors opened revealing an Asain man at the wheel. Everyone started piling in. I looked down at the little girl with long light brown kind of orange hair, green eyes, tan skin, and her thumb in her mouth. "Come on Autumn." I said holding out my hand for her to take. She squeezed her teddy bear tightly and took my hand. I picked up a bog with one hand and grabbed her small hand with another, and led her into the bus. The man with a crossbow looked at Autumn and smiled. We climbed in the bus. I gave one last look at the town behind me as the doors closed.]
"Are we almost there yet, Alexandria?" Autumn asked with a little bit of a whine in her voice.
I smiled,"I'm not sure darling."
Autumn was sitting on my lap and the guy with the crossbow next to me, since we ran out of seats 'cause there's so many damned people. He was kind of hot, so he most likely is a jerk. It's a trait most cute guys share. I decided to stay away from him.
He seemed really deep in thought when Autumn reached over and tapped his shoulder lightly. He jumped but looked down at Autumn and relaxed, maybe he has a soft spot for kids... "Excuse me sir. What is your name?" Autumn asked sweetly.
"Daryl. Daryl Dixon" He answered with a husky voice and a southern drawl.
She smiled. "Thank you Daryl, I'm Autumn. Daryl, do you know when we get to the safe place?"
He nodded towards the window, "We're already there." He got up as the bus stopped inside the prson gates and got out. I told Autumn to wait till everyone else got off before we did. After everyone got off I picked up my bag and picked up Autumn onto my hip and jumped off the bus.
*Author's note: I am sorry about the slow beggining. I don't know about you but I Hate the begginings of books. THey're boring to write. And don't say that's 'cause I'm not doing it right.
