A Nerd to a Bad Ass

School.

Beep beeep beep! Ugh first day of school. I slowly got up and took a shower. I brushed my teeth, blow dried my hair and curled it. I applied make up and went to look for clothes. I picked out a cut out shirt and high waist pants. I put on the blue ankle boots I bought grabbed my stuff and headed to the kitchen. 

I smelled Bacon and eggs ands hunger took over me. I walked in and saw my brother sitting and Andrew cooking. " Good morning. How did you rest?" Derick looked up from his newspaper. Wow he's only 22. He should really live a little. 

" Fine thanks for asking." Andrew put food on my table I looked at him and he winked. Weird. AI look at my food and there was a note on the bottom. I pulled it out and read it. ' Good morning beautiful. ;) ' 

I blushed and grinned like an idiot. Wait he probably does this in college with all the other girls. I took a pen out of my bag and wrote on the note. ' Hey sexy? F*ck Off!! ' I gave it to him and he grinned. He wrote something and gave it back. ' So I'm sexy? ;) ' I ripped it up and walked away. 

"Ema Andrew is taking you to school." F*ck my life!! I walked to the car and waited. He gets in and drive out of the garage. He looks at me while I try and ignore him. 

" So I'm sexy?" He says with a smirk. I look at him annoyed. " I've seen better." I shrugged and my phone was ringing. I took it out and read the text I got from Tina. ' Hey girl I'm in the front of school. Where are you?' I texted back ' I'm on my way. '  

" How far are we from school?" I asked. " We are here so get out and don't be a loner." He smirked. I hit him and ran out of the car before he could react. I saw Tina and smiled. 

I noticed that she was with a group of people. I walked up to her and smiled. " Hey Tina!" Tina hugged me. " Hey girl. This is Tiffany, Claire, and Ashley. Guys this is Ema. She's my friend so be nice." I smiled and we started talking. They got my schedule to match there schedule. And we headed to first period. Everyone was staring at me and it was a little awkward. 

" Good morning everyone. It looks like we have a new student. Her name is Ema Evans. Why don't you come up here and tell us about yourself." Damn. I hate teachers that do this. I walked up and turned to the class and I waved awkwardly. " Hey everyone. I'm Ema Evans and I am sixteen. umm I moved here with my brother Derick Evans. And so that's all you guys need to know." I walked to my seat. When someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around to see really hot guy smiling at me. 

" Hey I'm Drew and if you need anything just hit me up." He gave me a paper. I opened it and it was his phone numbers. I just nodded and Tina laughed. 

" Drew don't even try she is way out of your league." Me? Out of his league? Shouldn't it be the other way around? " Oh I think Ema likes me." I don't know what came over me but I laughed. " Aww you think I like you? Its okay I have that affect on boys."  

" Okay class you all have a project so I will let you choose your partners." Someone ran up to Tina and grabbed her before I could even ask to be partners so I waited for someone to ask. 

" Hey. Wanna be partners?" I saw Drew and looked around to see if there was anyone else but there was no one. " Sure whatever." The bell rings and I walk out of class with Tina and Drew following. 

" So should I go to your place or what?" We planned to go my place tomorrow and he agreed. The day dragged by slowly and the bell rang for lunch. We all headed to lunch and I saw drew kicking a kid. I ran up to him and pushed him off.  

" What the hell are you doing? Are you insane! He's a human not a punching bag!" he pushes me and says," Stay out of this! Its none of your business!" I slap him as hard as I can. " If you're hurting someone for no reason then it is my business! Now leave him alone!" he glared at me and stood right in front of me. " Fine. Just because I don't hit girls." I looked down at the guy on the floor bleeding like crazy.  

" Are you okay? Here let me help you." I helped him up and walked out of school with him. " Thanks but you didn't have to do that." I got a tissue out and vasaline. I always carry it just in case something happens just like this. 

" Of course I did. I know how you feel. I use to be you. In my old school though." He looked at me shocked. I started to clean the blood off of his forehead and a tingle ran through my body. He was cute. He had brown hair and hazel eyes. He was tan and buff but not huge. He had a black eye, a bloody nose, a cut on his forehead and a busted lip. 

" I'm Dustin by the way." He smiled but the made his lip bleed more. " Don't smile your lip will bleed more." I started to clean his lip. He stared at me and I felt a little uncomfortable. He whispered something but I couldn't make out what he said. 

" And there you go." He smiled and we sat under a tree talking but my stomach started growling. He chuckled and I blushed. 

" Come on lets go get food." He walked me to his car and opened the door for me. age got in and I looked at him. " I can't go. We still have two periods to get to." He chuckled and I looked confused. 

" The last two classes never take attendance. So lets go to the diner. They have awesome burgers." I just went along with it. He turned on the radio and one of my favorite songs went on. Radioactive by Imagine Dragons. I sang along. 

"I'm waking up. I feel it in my bones enough to make my system blow. Welcome to the new age to the new age. Welcome to the new age to the new age. Woah oh woah oh. woah oh woah I'm radioactive radioactive." He looks at me and smiles and again his lip starts to bleed. " I told you not to smile!" I clean it up. Again. 

" I'm sorry. its just that you're a good Singer." I smiled and thanked him. And again the touch of him sent tingled through my body What's happening? We got to the diner and went in we took a seat and waited for the waitress.  

An older lady came to our table and took our order and the whole time he was staring. He was so cute but a little creepy! I just met him and now we're at a diner together? 

" Hey are you okay?" He touched my hand softly. " Yeah I'm fine but I barely know you." I look up and see him with a bright smile.  

" Well what do you want to know?" I really didn't know so I asked the obvious questions. " Why was Drew hitting you?" He looked a little serious and scared but quickly covered it with a small grin.  

" Drew basically runs the school and he's in charge. We can't do anything because his dad is the 'alpha' or you can say the man in charge." Okay so that's weird and so unfair!  

" I think someone needs a taste of his own medicine. Maybe we should plan out something and totally ruin him!" Dustin smirked as I brain stormed on ideas. Our food arrived and we ate in silence. The food was amazing and I had dessert as well. Man it was good! 

After we finished, we paid and headed to the car. We looked at the time handgun it was already after school. " Hey so school is over want me to drop you off?" I nodded and we headed to my place. We got there and I invited him in. We walked in and no one was home. 

We went to my room and just hung out. " So what do you wanna do?" I really didn't know since I just moved here ands its pretty hot so I went into my dresser and took out a swim suit. " Lets go swimming!" I went to my brother's room and borrowed some trunk and we went to the backyard. I immediately jumped in. The water felt amazing on my skin! I felt Dustin right next to me.  

I go back up for air and I smile at Dustin. I felt someone staring at me and I turn around to see Andrew glaring at us. " What are you doing?" I was a little scared but didn't show it. I hear Dustin chuckle and say," What does it look like? We're swimming." We get out and Andrew still glaring at us. " You. Leave. NOW!" Dustin a little annoyed waved good bye and left. " What the hell was that!? You expect me to make friends and you chase them away!?" He looks at me a little calmer. " I'm sorry but you can't have guys over. Your brother's rules." I stomp upstairs to my room and slam the door shut. Ugh stupid rules! Whatever I'll talk to Dustin tomorrow.  

I start on my homework and by the time I finish its already 10. So I took a quick shower and hopped in bed. Darkness to over and fell into a dreamless sleep.
