Paige was 13 years old when she was enrolled into a Spanish School situated in Forest Hill, near her old home. As it was summer she wore shorts and a crop top, but the other girls didn't seem to like that.

"Ew, slut."

"Why is she wearing that? Is this a strip club?"

"Too much flesh."

"I bet she has 5 kids already."

The girls of her class had whispered as she walked trough the door. Being new was hard, because she knew nobody, whilst everyone else went to the junior classes together.

At the back of the class there were 3 rows of empty seats and Paige say at the very back. Whilst everyone else was either chatting or working Paige took out her sketch book and began to draw.

She took out her colouring pencils and HB pencils, then started sketching. She drew herself with lots of friends, she often drew things she didn't have. She held the paper up staring at it blankly, she frowned then screwed it up and shoved it in her pocket. She started drawing again. This time she drew herself in a corner with a sketchbook on her lap, by herself. But there was a crowd surrounding her, laughing and shouting rude things to her.

"Miss Llaverez? What are you doing in my lesson?" She towered over Paige's shoulder and snatched up the sketchbook. She carried it to the front of the classroom, Paige's heart jumped in her chest. Then the teacher lifted it up to show everyone. "Paige thought it would be OK to draw this silliness during my lesson. The whole class stared at her as of she murdered someone. She instantly blushed deeply red and bowed her head, hiding in her hair.

There were sniggers and giggles and jokes made around her. Paige had always been good at hiding her tears, but never her shame. Her cheeks burned with embarrassment as she couldn't look at the rest of the class.

All of a sudden the class door swung open and a boy speed walked to his seat, his small afro bobbing all over the place. He flung his back carelessly on the back of the chair next to Paige. The teacher, with her back still facing the board, sighed.

"Mr Banditez, you're late. Again."

Paige instantly recognised the boy. He was the son of the woman who helped Paige and her friend when the Llaverez House burned down. She wanted to talk to him badly, but she doubted he would remember her and he thought the exact same thing.

"Yes, but señora this time it really wasn't my fault!" He whined, tutting and rolling his eyes, taking off his shades and putting them into his pocket. He had very pretty dark brown eyes, they were almost black and they sparkled like glitter. Paige liked him.

"Oh really." The teacher scoffed, Rayarn was always late with many different excuses. Rayarn rolled his pretty eyes at the teachers disbelief.

"Fine, be like that then." He muttered to himself, making Paige giggle. "She's always on my back, it's so annoying. Like I don't want to be here, gosh!"

"Sounds like you've been here for a while, then." Paige replied, laughing lightly.

"Pshhh, yeah. This damn place is annoying like its England so we only need to speak English." He rolled his eyes as he complained.

The lesson dragged on with Paige and Rayarn having small talk about how much he hated the school and the Spanish language, until it finally drew to a close. Rayarn was very quick out of the classroom, leaving Paige behind to tidy up her stuff. She sighed as she slumped her bag over her shoulder and left the class. As she approached the doorway, she saw Rayarn waiting for her.

"I want to ask you something." He said, not meeting her eyes.

"Mhmm?"

He held his breath. "Do you remember me?"
