Dan's POV

I woke up on what felt like a mossy ground. There were sticks and rocks piercing my back. I opened my eyes and although it was dark outside but the bright stars made it feel like it was an early morning. I sat up and looked around. I first looked down confirming that I was laying on moss, rocks, and broken twigs. I tried to remember how I got here in what seems like the middle of the woods. Then I realized I don't remember anything. I tried to remember my home, family, friends, anything! The only thing that popped up in my head was...Dan? I assumed that was name. Considering I couldn't remember anything else. What seemed strange to me was the fact that I could remember basic things like how to eat or the fact that I knew that I was in the woods. I decided to look at the strangely bright stars since the throb in my head had gone down a bit. They didn't seem like they were part of Earth's galaxy. As weird as it may sound. The constellation seemed to be extremely more exciting than what I'm used to or was used to. Even though I couldn't quite piece together what the stars used to look like. They were pastel colors of white, blue, pink, green, and yellow. And they seemed to be moving? I rubbed my eyes to see if I may be hallucinating, but to no avail they kept swirling together. I smirked 'cause as I sat there looking at the stars and the more I watched the more it seemed like they were dancing together.
