I looked at Jared as he bent down to pick up the phone I dropped.

"There's a reason I left it here." He said placing it back on the desk beside me.

"I thought you were away." I said.

"I was, now I'm back." He smiled setting his bag down beside him.

"Jesse said you were gone for another week." I slowly moved towards the door.

"Well he was wrong, and I'm guessing you shouldn't be here," he smirked, "run along then we don't need Jesse getting mad." I quickly left his room thinking back to my encounter with Jacob the day before. If there was one thing I knew for sure it's that all three of my half brothers are insane and vile.

~(∆_∆)~First Time Skip in the second book~(∆_∆)~

I sat in my room thinking about Jacob's plan. I had to get out, I needed to warn them. Being stuck in here isn't doing me any good, to make it worse I wasn't exactly trying that hard to get out.

"Oh Rachel." Jesse said in a sing song voice as he knocked on my door.

"What do you want?" I asked through said door.

"Would you be so kind as to open this door?" His voice still made my stomach turn in disgust.

"No."

"In any case Jared is back and wants to have dinner with you." At this I looked over at the clock on my bedside table.

7:03pm

I opened the door and looked at Jesse, "Okay."

When I made it to Jared's personal dining room he was sitting there waiting, food completely untouched.

"I knew you would agree to this." He said.

"You didn't tell Jesse." I reached for my glass of water.

"Like I said, we don't need Jesse getting mad," he started eating, "that being said I could always tell him, unless you tell me their plans."

"Their plans?"

"Jesse and Jacobs plans, that's why you're here and dad doesn't know."

I set the glass back on the table. "He doesn't?" I looked down at my lap.

"Of course he doesn't," he set down his cutlery, "now their plans."

"Jesse doesn't have a plan," if I told him the most likely thing to happen is for him to tell Trigon I'm here, "it's all Jacob's doing, even Jesse thinking he stopped Jacob's plan."

"What is Jacob's plan then?"

I had to lie to him, if I didn't then he would just take advantage of it, "I don't know."

Everyone started running, swears being thrown into the air as we struggled to leave the warehouse. The second I managed to get outside the police are already there, blue, red and white lights almost blinding.

"Put your hands in the air." One of the officers yelled. "On the ground, now!" I did as told.

I stood with my back against the wall, I would sit but I'm not sure when the floor in this holding cell was (or if it ever has been) cleaned.

"Garfield Logan?" A rather mean looking cop said and I walked to the door to this cage.

"Yes?"

"Your lawyer is here." He said unlocking the cell, handcuffing me then leading me to the interrogation room I was in a few hours earlier.

Sitting in one of the metal chairs was a man in a fancy suit with a briefcase on the table in front of him.

"Hello Garfield," The man said with a straight face, his attention turning to the cop behind me, "I don't think those are necessary." The cop thus removed the handcuffs and allowed me to sit in the other, very uncomfortable, metal chair.

"I don't remember asking for a lawyer." I said once the cop had left.

"You didn't, I was asked to represent you in court." He opened the briefcase looking for files I'm guessing.

"Who asked you?" I leaned forward on the table, my forearms laying flat as my body hunched over.

"Bruce Wayne."

A/N so that took some time to finish... But its done! The first chapter and the second I'll try to get out by the 24th. Also how do you feel about these type of chapters, kinda makes them a little longer and you don't have to wait super long to get through that cliffhanger...
