No One Understands

Chapter 15

I woke up the next day wrapped in my blankets. I kicked them off me and walked into the bathroom, I took off the shirt and sweats and looked at myself and sighed, man I am skinny. I stripped and got in the shower, when I got out I was happy I could put on my clothes. I grabbed some and put them on I walked downstairs and looked in Jason's room he wasn't in there. I sighed I wonder where they are, I continued to the kitchen and got some cereal and toast. I walked into the living room and sat down, I decided to have a harry potter marathon, so I finished my cereal and toast then got out the bucket of popcorn. I set it up and sat on the couch with my legs on it too.

I had already watched the first three movies when the doorbell rung, I grabbed an umbrella and looked through the hole. It was Am so I answered it after putting down the umbrella, she was looking at the ground like a worm was the most interesting thing in the world

"Hi Mrs. Z, can I come in," she asked

I was confused; usually, she doesn't ask, when I didn't say anything she looked up and when she saw me she screamed just like Court did, she hugged me and I could feel her crying on my shoulder. We walked in the house and I sat down on the couch again

"Lace I'm so glad you're ok, we were worried sick and Marcus hasn't even left his house," She said, I looked down "What's wrong?" I looked at her and she knew what was wrong "Oh Lace, you don't have to speak at all if you don't want to just know that I am here for you no matter what" I gave her a hug

I pointed to the movie that was paused

"Do you have the popcorn?" she asked

I silently laughed and handed her the bucket, I grabbed the post sticks and wrote on one

'What month is it?' She looked at it

"Well if your birthday was a month ago, so it's March," She said

I nodded and we went back to watching the movie, my mom came home with Jason a couple of hours later and the same thing happened she screamed and cried and hugged me, she asked how I was and then she figured out I wasn't talking

"I respect that sweetie, I'll call the police and tell them. Can I ask you one question though" she said, I nodded "Where did he take you?"

'There's a house by the truck stop off the 92 freeway it's just a couple blocks up to the right' I wrote and she nodded

"I'll be back, I'm going back to the station" she kissed me on the forehead and left

Am and I finished our little marathon and I was hungry. I walked into the kitchen and got some cup of noodles, Am left and went home and Jason was upstairs. The doorbell rung again and I was getting tired of it ringing, I grabbed the umbrella again and opened the door, it was Marcus and I hugged him like it was the last thing on earth

"Baby I missed you so much, Amber called me and told me," he said

I had tears in my eyes and grabbed his face and kissed him, he wrapped his arms around me and I never wanted to let go. I released and stared into his eyes

"Please never leave me again," He said, I smiled and nodded. I let him in and we walked up to my room. I sat down on the bed and he sat next to me. I put my head on his shoulder and sighed

"What are you thinking about?" He asked

I shook my head, he laid down and I laid next to him. I was laying on his chest while he stroked my hair. I felt his breathing even out so that must mean he fell asleep. I looked up at him and it looked like he hasn't slept in days, I feel so bad for him and I hope my father gets thrown in jail because if he isn't I might just kill him myself. I was getting so angry I got up and walked to the kitchen and got some water, I walked back to my room and sat on the couch and watched t.v quietly. I wasn't tired, I laid down and turned the t.v to a movie, Lucky my favorite movie was on. After an hour and a half of watching it, I was now tired. I walked into my bedroom and climbed into bed, I snuggled into Marcus and fell asleep.
