PART ONE

(Katara Prov.)

Today was the day. The day of Sozin's comet. Me and Zuko where on our way and I was deep in

thought. I was really nervous because of facing Azula. Then I noticed Zuko's worried look " don't worry we can take Azula". Zuko" Im not worried about Azula I'm worried about Aang, what if he doesn't have the gust to take out my father, what if he loses" looking back to me in his worried look " Don't worry Aang is a strong person I believe in and so should you"I started to hold his hand,"also stop the what ifs just focus on what the battle we have at hand" I said with a smile on my face. He looked at me more reassuring i squeeze his hand for comfort then let it go.

We got to the palace right in time. The fire sage was about to place the fire lord crown into her topknot we stopped them. "You're not going to become fire lord today, I am" said Zuko in response "ha,ha your hilarious" said Azula so I steped up to the plate"and your going down" the fire sage was about to put the crown into her messy topknot but stopped "Wait, you want to be firelord fine, just you and me the battle that was always meant to be Agni Kia" I knew Zuko would say yes but I was worried " You're on" I looked at him with full concern" what are you doing you know you can't face Azula alone even you told your uncle you would need help", "I have to take her on my own its the only way for you to stay safe and and I can see it in her eyes that she is slipping so maybe I can take her on my own. I looked at him and I could only nod and step back before I watched the battle begin.

When the battle started all I cared about was to keep Katara safe and win. Azula was not herself because she had not used her special talent yet. But when I threw a fire ball at her it hit her and her topknot came out and she rolled across the ground, but she got back up. "What,no lightning today? Afraid Ill redirect it?", "Oh ill show you lightning!!!" She started her pattern but this lightning ,this lightning was more powerful. This was dark blue lightning. I started my stance but when she was about to strike her eyes shifted. She gave me an evil smirk and didn't shoot at me. I was confused for a second but realized the only other person that was with me was.... Katara.

All I thought about was saving Katara. I could never forgive myself if she got hurt. So I threw

myself informs of the lightning path. The lightning precede through my body and I skidded to the ground and the last thing I heard was Katara scream "ZUKO!!!" Then I feel unconscious.

(Katara Prov.)

Zuko just saved my life, all I cared about was getting to Zuko. I forgot about Azula and everything going around me. But when I ran to him a shot of lightning almost hit me, I dogged the and ran behind a pilar " I'd rather our family doctor look out for our little Zu-Zu if you don't mind", she shot at me again" aw Zu-Zu you don't look so well another shot failed to hit me. I acted back and threw a stream at where Azula had be but not anymore. I looked behind me and saw her. I bent the water to skate across and get her to miss her shots. Then I tripped over something and fount a sewer system and chains I got up and grabbed the chains. Azula came around the corner "there you are you filthy peasant" I narrowed my eyes and and tried to get her above the sewer. I shot some tentacles and got to the spot where I wanted to her, then when she was about to shoot I brought the water up and froze both of us.

She looked at me then I started my trice and breathed threw my nose. The water around me turned into liquid to I could move around I came behind Azula and to the chains and chained her to the ground. When I knew she couldn't run off I too the water and raised it down. We both breathed for some air but made the chain tighter around her wrist. Then I ran to Zuko and turned him over and saw the scar on his chest and heal him as fast as I could when I was finished I looked into his face to to if he would wake up. But he didn't move. I burst into tears I couldn't think I would live on with out Zuko with me. I looked at him. I brought myself close to him " l love you and I wish you where here right now" a few tears trickled down my checks and I brought his head up to mine and kissed him. When I was about to pull away a hand raped around my waist and I looked at Zuko.

His eyes where open and he looked at me. All I could do was hug him and and tears of joy came to my eyes. The man I love was still with me.

When I started to come to I heard Katara" I love you and I wish you where here right now" OMG she loved me and and I loved her. She brought me close to her and kissed me. It felt to good to be true. I opened my eyes when she was pulling away but I raped an arm around her waist. She looked at me with a big smile on her face she raped her arms around my neck and I could hear her sigh in relief. She must have been really thought I was dead because her eyes where pink. But where coming back to white when she pulled away she smile at me and I smiled back " I love you too" then I kissed her her again.

Next Day (third person)

The next day team avatar got back together and discussed what would happen after Zuko's coronation. To my luck Toph and Aang became a couple and Katara and Zuko stayed together. Mai and Tylee went to with Suki and Sokka went back to Kyoshi island. After Zuko's coronation Zuko proposed to Katara and she said yes. Everything was at peace, for now. Unknown to the fire nation their beloved fire lady would be in danger to a unknown man.
