Intro
I open the door to the restaurant I'm now employed at. My boss greets me and slips on a hat. "Ah, Macy! Come join the fun," He smiles at me, and I trot in. All my friends who work here too are here. Like Samantha. "Mace! Nice to see you here!" She jumps, giving me a slap on the back. "Well I never! Good ol' Macy here to serve some fun!" My best friend, Trevor, puts his arm around me. "Hey, guys. Can we just start working already?" I impatiently ask, running my fingers through my extremely long, black hair. "You don't want to have fun?" My boss tilts his head, and takes Trevor's arm off of me. "We always start the new work year off with a little party," He raises his hand. "No thanks. I came here to get the schedule, then I'm getting home to take care of my mum," I shrug and take off my hat. "Oh, okay. Here," My boss sighs, handing me a work schedule. "Thanks. See you guys later," I wave goodbye and turn around to exit the restaurant.
