My alarm clock rings at 7:00am for school.

It's my last 2 weeks as a sophomore at Penola high school. That means this week is break. Then our last week as sophomores.

I'm Ani, I am a 15 year old girl. I'm
average height. I'm skinny and I get bullied by some girls at school because I'm 'ugly'. I live in Melbourne. I have 2 best friends that have stuck with me since freshman year, Rose and Lisette. I live with my dad, my mum left when I was 2. I don't have a boyfriend, yes I haven't had my first kiss but I want it to be special.

I hop out of bed and stretch. I walk to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I dry my face on a blue face towel hanging from a hook.

I walk to my closet and pick out an outfit that I created last month. I wore high waisted jean shorts with rips in them, a crop top that said 'city girl' and my white high top converse.

I put my hair in a sock bun. I checked the mirror and checked to see how I looked. I put on some mascara and grabbed my things.

My phone vibrated on my nightstand. It was Lisette.

L: Hey you almost ready? I'm starting to walk over to your house.

A: Almost, I just gotta grab my things. I'll be ready. The door is open. xx

L: Okay. See ya soon. xx

"Ani! Lisette is here! Hurry up or you will be late to school on your last day!" Dad yelled up the stairs.

"One sec!" I grabbed my backpack, phone, and wallet, then headed downstairs to the kitchen.

"Hey Lisette!"

"Hey Ani."

"You ready?"

"Yeah, we can head out now."

I go to the bathroom and checked myself once again.

"Dad! We're leaving!" I shouted from the front door.

"Alright girls! Have a good day at school. If you plan to hang out after school, text me!"

"Alrighty! Thanks! Bye!"

Lisette and I left the house and walked to school. It's a 5 minute walk from my house to school. Sadly, I haven't met anyone in my neighborhood, so if they get rides there, so we've never carpooled with anyone.

We arrive at the gates to Penola. Lets go to class. Lisette walks with me to English. "Oh my gosh! I can't wait to leave! Summer break!!" says Lisette doing her happy dance through the door.

*2 periods later*

It was lunch time. Lisette and I sat at our usual table. Rose walked up to us. "There you are! Where have you been lovely?" I asked her as I got up out of my seat and hugged her.

"I have been so busy trying to say bye to everyone and trying to get all my stuff together." Rose said squeezing me. Then reaching for Lisette to hug her.

"Hey guys lets hang out after school? " I suggested.

"Sure." We can hang by your house!" Rose shouted.

"Let's do it. Uh.. Meet at the entrance after school." Lisette said.

We all went our separate ways to our classes. As I say down in my chemistry seat, Tiffany (mean bully) went up to me and called me an ugly board. I nearly cried but I kept my pain inside.
