Jerome's POV
She loves me, She really does. I mean who else has perfetc hair and a perfect smile. Plus she mentioned the hug then the movie. The words went round and round in my head. That I love him. That I love him.
I mean I love her too, I think, I mean I do. I always have. Errrr but Mara. I'm dating Mara. Why is life sooo complicated. She isn't dating Alfie anymore, but he still like really likes her. Wait, no he really likes Willow now since he's dating her. They are cute together.
Anyway what am I going to do. She likes me. I like her. Do I walk in and tell her. No, I'm still with Mara, and tht isn't a good way to go. Remember the Mara and Willow incident. I was lucky Mara took me back after the 4 weeks of revenge. She is crazy good at it but doesn't know when to stop!
Could I hide my feelings? No, I can never do tat, if I did then I'd just be misrable for ages and I'd live in a web of lies.
I don't like Mara anymore. I don't. I have to break up with her. But when will I do it? Soon? Later? Now? Yes now! I can't hold it in. But I don't want to hurt her. But I'll hurt her even more if she finds out about my feelings for Amber. Shut up about Amber Jerome! God!

"Mara", I say.
"Yes Jeromeo", She says, getting all flirty.
"We need to talk", I take a deep breath, "About us".
"What about us, seriously Jerome I'm getting really worried now. Whats up?".
"I... Don't want to go out with you anymore Mara because...". I can't say that. Not that. Oh but this is true and it doesn't involve Amber.
"Because what? Why are you breaking up with me?".
"Because I can't go out with someone who I no longer like. A good relationship involves actually liking or loving eachother", I say.
"But that isn't true. We ave a goofd relationship becuase Jerome, I like you, Love you!"
"Yeah, but I don't love you, not anymore anyway", I say and walk out.
Amber's POV
We're all sat eating breakfast the next day. Its our first day back at school, yesterday was no lessons.
"Why is everyone so quiet", Nina asks.
"Because Jerome dumped me", Mara said. YES!
Jerome gets up.
"Thanks Trudy", he says and walks out of the room. I don't know if I should do this. I get up and run after him.
"Jerome!".
"what".
"Why did you break up with Mara", I ask as we walk to school.
"Because I just don't like her anymore", He says.
"Oh". I look into his eyes. There so dreamy. He's just so perfect.
Jerome's POV
This was the moment. I stare intp her eyes. Shes so beautiful. I lean in and kiss her. I couldn't end the moment. I didn't want to go into school. I didn't want to leave the moment.
"Jerome..." she says.
"School I know", I say. We let go of eachother and we hear the rest of the Anubis gang.
"Quick run ahead, we don't want them to suspect any thing", Amber says and we run into school. We don't do any classes together this day of the week, so I don't see her. After school we go back to Anubis house together but we don't want anyone to know about the kiss. So we say were going to watch the sequel to the movie.
In Ambers room we huddle together and put the movie on. She puts her head on my chest because she's scared. And I can't help but whispering.
"I love you Millington".
