The Claiming

"So Annabeth, tell me. How does it actually feel to be away from home?", I asked with a smile. "It's not that bad actually. but not a good feeling either.", she replies shaking her head and chuckling. I was sitting with my best friend Annabeth in the park, meeting her after a long time."I heard-" I was cut short by a shrill hiss that rang through the air.

Annabeth immediately sprang up with a dagger in her hand which you didn't notice earlier. "Whoa! Annabeth? Where did you get that dagger?", I asked in shock. "Shush! Be quiet!", she mumbled. Something stirred in the bushes. "What is that!?",I half screamed. "I said keep it low Sam!" I warily took a step back and stepped on a twig. A single crack echoed through the area. Suddenly, a monster erupted from the bushes. No wait a Hydra. "Run!", yelled Annabeth and I didn't even hesitate for a second. Both of us ran as fast as our legs could take us, the hydra hot in pursuit, spewing poison on the bushes. "Can't-run-faster", I puffed. "Schist!", cursed Annabeth as you both were trapped in an alley. The Hydra heads hissed nonchalantly as if they were laughing at me. As they got ready to spew poison, a huge explosion occurred over its head and it dissolved into a pool of dust. "Leo! Thank the Gods!, yelled Annabeth. You just stood there confused as Annabeth gave the curly hair guy a scenario of what happened. "You think Sam-", Leo started. She cut him off quickly," Maybe." My head started spinning as I bent by the wall,"Not feeling good", I murmured before it all turned black.

I woke up in the evening surrounded by Annabeth and a bunch of other people I didn't recognize. "Where am I?", I murmured. "You're safe now. You're a half-blood." Said a guy with black raven hair and green eyes. He filled me up on the details of being a half-blood and godly parent and monsters and camp half-blood. Much to my own surprise, I took it casually. I wasn't even surprised.

During campfire, I  was roasting marshmallows next to Chiron when everyone gasped. I looked up and saw they were staring at me. More specifically something above me. I looked up and saw a small owl hovering over m head. "Hail Sam, Son of Athena, Goddess of Wisdom and Battle Strategies." Said, Chiron. They all bent and then got about there business.

I went over to the canoe lake and swung your legs in the water. "Hey! So you're my brother eh?", smiled Annabeth as she came and sat next to me. I chuckled in response. "Well I just Came to Say hello to the stars." I gave her a confused look. "Iapetus.", she murmured. "Oh". Percy had filled me in all the details about their quests. I smiled and said," You know what? Zoe was Atlas's daughter who was Iapetus's Son. SO basically, Zoe is Bob's granddaughter. You're just saying hello to his granddaughter" She smiled,"I just realized." A silent tear fell down her cheek. "Bob says hello."
