Harry Potter and The Last Lies

Chapter 1

It had been a whole month since the war and Harry Potter was finally able to live his life. He and Ginny had gotten back together the day after the war and they had been catching up ever since. They had told each other what they had done over the last year and their relationship was stronger than ever. Harry had moved into Grimmauld Place and started cleaning it up more. He had found many old pictures of his father and of him as a baby. Harry had found some old books of pure-blood families including the Potters and the Blacks. He had to get rid of all kinds of dark artifacts too. Now Harry and Ginny were sitting on the couch talking. After a while Ginny had to go home for dinner and Harry started cleaning again. He finished with his godfather's room even prying some of the more inappropriate pictures from the wall and went downstairs to get some butterbeer. When he walked past the front door, Harry sensed someone walking up to it. Sure enough, a second later, he heard a knock on the door. He looked out the window and saw Hagrid with a girl about his age with bright anxious green eyes and black hair. Harry opened the door and Hagrid walked in and gave Harry a bone crushing hug. When he put Harry back on the floor, he grinned widly at Harry and said "Harry, I have someone I want to Introduce to you." He pushed the girl forward and said "This is Leah Potter". "I thought I didn't have any family other than the Dursleys" Harry said angrily. "well I'm pleased to meet you Leah, I guess you are my cousin or distant relative from my dad's family?" Harry said to the girl. Harry was glad to know that he had some family no matter how distant it was and Leah seemed happy to meet him too, but there was some confusion in her eyes as she looked at him. "actually Harry this is your little sister" Hagrid told him gently. Harry and Leah gasped and started talking both at once. Hagrid stopped their talking to explain. "When your parents were killed by Voldemort that terrible night, we had to find somewhere for you both to go. Harry would be hunted down by Voldemort and anyone close to him could be killed. Your parents wanted you both as safe as possible and as the Dursleys were already connected to Harry, they weren't safe for you Leah. Harry, you were already unsafe, so we let you stay with your family. Leah was put in an orphanage to stay until the end of the war." " where was the orphanage" Harry asked through clenches teeth. "Well it was in America" Hagrid replied. Harry thought for a while and then said "I didn't know there were any schools in America"."Well of course there are schools in America why wouldn't there be, its not like Americans are stupid and don't have schools." Leah interrupted. She seemed to be getting more confused with every minute of the conversation. "all I know is that you are my brother and this man came to my orphanage and scared the hell out of everyone there. He brought me all the way to England and now you are saying that you think there are not any schools in America and that Mom and Dad were killed by some freak named Voldewart and not in a car wreck like I've been told all my life. I want to know what is going on right now! Leah's voice got louder and more agitated as she talked. "She didn't go to a magical school did she?" Harry asked. Hagrid shook his head "no it was just a muggle school.".Now Leah started screaming "WHAT THE HELL IS A FREAKING MUGGLE!" "Umm Leah calm down I guess we have a lot to tell you" Harry told her in a desperate struggle to get her to stop yelling. "Ok Bro but you'd better tell me everything or I will kick your butt into next week.
