Sara's Story
Chapter 1-
The morning was different for all Ilgaz and Taskiran families.They woke up to new morning except Lale.
Again..
Lale was death for 6 months and everybody was still suffering for her
A specially Mrs.Zümrüt..
Mr.Necip opened his eyes and gulped.
He counted that how many he woke up like that in these 6 months.
He stood up slowly and walked to the other bed.Other bed?
Mrs.Zümrüt was sleeping there..
They are in the same room but like different worlds.He approached to Mrs.Zümrüt and looked at her face.
It was wet because of her tears she was still criing and screaming.
She was really so exhausted after Lale.It was repeating every day.
The damned nightmares..
She was squeezing the blanket with her hands all her body was wet.
Mr.Necip opened the blanket and tried to remove her from bed.
She was still criing loudly and saying something.Her eyes were closed..
Mr.Necip approached her:Ok..Ok That's it.It was just a nightmare.
Calm down..It's ok.
Then he carried her to bathroom to wash her face.
Mrs.Zümrüt was upset to woke up like that one more time.She opened her eyes finally and became silent.
She was looking at Necip with frightened eyes.
Necip:Ok..Nightmare again.
She bowed her head and said "Thanks" silently then came back to room again.She set on her bed and took her face with her hands.
Necip came,too:I will talk with your doctor.She should know it.
Mrs.Zümrüt took a deep breath:I already say that her,I tried her advices..
She looked at Necip and started to cry again:Just I can't stop..
Necip touched her chin:It's ok..
Stop criing.You are the strongest person of this family.
Mrs.Zümrüt stood up and walked to the bathroom so she didn't listen him.
Again the same words.."You are strongest" "Don't act like that" bla.
She was a mother! Yes she was.
How can she be strong after her daughter's death!?
"Nobody understands me.."
She was criing and having bath,like she was submiting her soul to pure water.Water was giving her power..
Water was cleaning her sins..
And wiping her tears.
Necip was sitting on the chair and reading the newspaper while he was waiting for her to go to the breakfast.
Mrs.Zümrüt wore her dress and put her happy face mask on.She smiled in front of the mirror.Just she knew how this smile was fake.Just she..
When she came back to room she confused a little:Mr.Necip?
Necip looked at her:I'm waiting for you Ma'am.If you are ready we can go to breakfast.
Zümrüt confirmed with her head:Ok,I'm ready.
The big family was having breakfast with a big silence.
Reyhan stopped it and looked at Çınar:You choose the true way Çınar.
Welcome to your home and welcome to your office.
Çınar just looked at her:Thanks Reyhan.
He was calm after Necip's words.
He has to be strong for his little girl.
And of course his aunt helped him.
He looked at to Mrs.Nedret,he wanted to say something but he changed his mind,continued his breakfast.
Zümrüt stood up and smiled:Bon Appetito for you..I'm leaving.
Necip asked:Where Mrs.Zümrüt?
Zümrüt:I have an appointment with my Doctor then maybe I will be in Nisantasi for shopping.See you..
Zümrüt turned and İkbal:Look at that! Like our daughter is death!
Zümrüt heard that and stopped.
Necip gulped,Zümrüt turned and looked at her with a big disappointment but she didn't say anything she just continued walking slowly.Necip looked at İkbal again.
Necip:You are really so merciless.
Everybody looked at him suprised.
İkbal was shocked after that.
Necip (with a high sound):Only God knows how she is suffering.
Only I know how she is waking to new day hardly.
Çınar:Uncle..
Necip didn't look at him:Be quiet Çınar.
Now everybody was shocked except one of them.
Necip stood up:I won't hear something like that in this house one more time. Everybody suffering sufficiently. Then he looked at Reyhan:Let's go. Reyhan,Mehmet and Ece stood up. They left.İkbal looked at Nedret she was having her breakfast peacefully.
İkbal:What I said know? How can he talk like that with me?
Mrs.Nedret:What are you expecting?
She is his wife.How can you talk like that with her? What's your problem?
She is a mother İkbal..
We cant know her pain.We can't feel.
She continued her breakfast.
İkbal was looking at her shocked.
Everybody gone crazy!
She stood up and left the saloon angrily.
Çınar looked at Mrs.Nedret and whispered:Thanks my aunt..
Mrs.Nedret looked at him.
Çınar:Thanks for your words.
You opened my eyes to world.I'm..
I'm grateful to you.
She smiled:You are my nephew young man.Of course I'm with you when you need.Go..Go and work for your new life for your beautiful daughter.
Çınar smiled and stood up.
Now Mrs.Nedret was alone..
She looked at her watch and went to pray room for midday pray.
