In an instant I'm on the ground and my books are all sprawled out.
"See, poor girls aren't strong. Neither are there mothers." Sierra called out as her posy of friends laughed.
I slowly pick up my books and stand up.
"Oh look the girl thinks she's strong now."
I can feel fury crawling up my spine.
"She thinks she so strong, her mother is weak and so is she."
That's it.
I turn around and swing a full force punch at the her face.
She falls to the ground with a weep. I see blood start to pile up, It's slimy but red like jello.
I quickly pick up my books again and start to walk but turn around and face her on the ground.
"Next time, don't talk about my mother, or you won't see daylight."

Same day
"Emily Hansen to the office right away."
The whole class starts to say ooh.
I pick up my bag and head to the office.
I can feel fear sweep away my mind.
I shouldn't of punched her that was a bad idea.
"Hello Emily. The principal is waiting. I suggest you bring on the tears."
Ms.fair winks at me. She has always helped me out because of her knowing my story.
I plop my bag on the chair outside of his office and open the door.
"Finally, Emily please sit."
I take a seat on the uncomfortable chair and glance at Casey the girl that was teasing me. She ha s a box of tissue on her lap and she's crying. Right now there's a tissue holding up against her nose.
Shouldn't the nurse be helping her with that?
"Now Emily, tell me the story in your point of view. And no lying, if you do there will be more trouble than there already is."
"I was walking on my way to class, when Casey and her group come towards me."
"And she was just coming to help you pick up your books you dropped?" Mr. Stewart said.
"Nope that's not it. She started making fun of me saying I was weak, and so was my mother. Because she's an alcoholic."
"Oh. Casey can you leave?"
She gives me a look then gets up and leaves with a sweet smile.
"So your mother is an alcoholic?"
"Can I just get back to the story please?"
"Sure, we can talk about that topic after."
"She pushed me to the ground then started laughing at me and taunting me. Then when i got up she called me weak. And I just snapped. I'm very sorry. Please don't call my mother."
"Why? What would she do?"
"I would rather not talk about but please don't call her. I promise I won't do anything like this again."
"Well I'm gonna keep you on your promise. Now get back to class."
He smiles and motions to the door. I stand and open the door and close it gently.
"So are you in trouble?" The ms.fair says.
"Nope. I begged him not to call my mother. I would be in so much trouble I probably wouldn't be back in school."
"You know you can come to me anytime right?"
"Yes. Thank you." I grab my bag and head back to class.

The rest of the day goes by fast and soon I am opening the door to my house.
I close it carefully and start heading to my room when I'm stopped by some random guy.
"Well look at this little miss. You must be the beautiful one out of the family."
I nod and try to move but his grip is tight on my arm.
He leans in close and I turn away not wanting to see what he's gonna do.
I can feel coldness on my neck, going done to my arm. I close my eyes and try not to think about it. I start remembering the time that my mother and father took me to a lake. We jumped and splashed in the water. I still can remember his face, what he looked like. His brown hair, blue eyes, and the way he would smile. I still remember him. I never knew where he wet though. One day he got in his car with a suitcase and left. I always thought he would come back when I was  a little girl, he had made me a promise that one day he would come back to save me. That day was 9 years ago. And he still hasn't come.

I wake up on my bed in my undergarments and I feel gross, like something sucked the life out of me. I walk into the bathroom and take a shower. The hot water falls all over my body and warms up my insides. I get out and put on an old robe. I head back into my room and change into jeans and a shirt. I go into the kitchen and see a note on the counter.
I have gone out on a weekend trip I will be back by Monday, if I'm not go to a friends house or something.

"Great now I'm home alone all weekend."
I go into the fridge and grab the milk, some captain crunch cereal and pour me a bowl.
I go into the living room and there are drugs and alcohol everywhere.
"I really should clean this up."
I finish eating my cereal and start cleaning. I search for some cleaner and finally find some under the bathroom sink. I clean the whole living room, throw away all the leftover drugs and alcohol. I vacuum, dust, and wipe the whole house so it's sparkling. I look at the clock and its 6:32pm time to lock all the doors and windows. At 7:00pm all the drug dealers, and killers come out around our neighbourhood. I walk around the house locking all the windows and the doors. Finally I finish. I go into the living room and turn on the tv. The news lady says there's gonna be a 79% chance of rain tonight. I listen to some other sob story's then turn it off. I head into the bathroom and brush my teeth then head into bed. I make sure to lock my door too. If someone ever came in I don't want them coming into my room.
