Stuck on sterling

Chapter 4

The whole car ride was silent. Too silent. I start to think of the most insane questions.

Where's the blond boy?

What was his name?

Why did he come to the hospital?

Did Jenny know him?

Why did he keep staring at me?

Why was he so cute..?

I asked Jenny in a kinda sad voice

Where's the blond boy?

"Babe, he had to go to rehearsal. But he said he'll be over later to check up on you. He's one of my good friends. I know it's a little weird because he's 18 and I'm 25 but I know his parents really well."

What was his name... I said feeling to earge that I was going to doze off into a fantasy.

"Sterling. Sterling Knight."

Jenny..

"Yeah babe?"

I think I like him.

"Shit." She slammed on her brakes really hard.

Jenny! What the hell?!?

"Look stori, I know how you feel. You have a summer romance. But it can't work. Your an ordinary girl. He's sterling knight. Okay? I don't want you to date him."

I stay still, and silent the rest of the ride home.

I stare out the window looking at the tall buildings and the street signs and the people and all of the food stands and palm trees. Feeling fascinated but not happy. Sterling is his name. And I can't get him out of my mind. Why didnt Jenny want me to be with him? Why did she get so crazy?

When we got home I had 6 bags from the mall. The big bags. Filled name brand clothing and top brand shoes. And it was all so much I could barely carry it upstairs.

When I came down Jenny was cooking pizza.

Hey Jenny, what kind of pizza?

I tried not to make it aqward because we hadn't spoke the whole ride home.

She simply replied

"Babe, miha, I'm sorry for acting so strange in the car. But sterling is says he couldn't stop thinking about you when he got home from the hospital and he likes you and you like him. And the thing is Idk you if guys are meant to be. He's on his way over right now. But just play cool. And act like you don't like him. Until your sure you like him. If your gonna be somebody's heartbreak it better be someone pretty damn good."

*Ding dong*

That moment I heard the bell ring my heart dropped. It was sterling. I didn't know what to do or what to say. So I went upstairs to grab my iPhone that Jenny bought for me so that if I went anywhere I wouldn't get lost. And I acted like I was texting to make things less weird.

"Hey stori.."

Hey..

"How's you head? Is it okay?"

I could see In his eyes he really cared.

It's fine..

"Well it's nice to meet you stori" he said with the cutest smirk on his face.

Oh, I could think of better ways.

He stood there silent with that same smirk.

"Um okay dinner is ready lets- um why does my house smell like awkwardness right now?"

That's when me and him snapped out of our some what staring contest and just laughed.

We are pizza and watched his big movie "Starstruck" and it was a very suspenseful movie. And I think he is 99.9 more attractive than before.

*2 hours later*

"bye stori... Um but hey I have a question."

Um okay..

"Do you wanna hang out at the beach tomorrow?"

That's when The butterfly's kicked in. Wait who am I kidding it was like a zoo formed in my tummy! The hugest grin spread on my face also with the reddest cheeks.

But I simply said

Uh yeah sure, that would be cool. Around 1?

"Okay see you then."

Okay guys when ever stori says something it won't have " but when the other characters say something will have " . And Jenny always calls stori babe so that's how you'll know Jenny is talking. But she also calls me miha because there Mexican. Just so you know. There's a little heads up if you were confused.
