Franky's P.O.V
I jumped back down on the sofa next to Bea and let out a sigh.
"Rough morning ey?"
"Haha it was something alright"
"What's wrong then you not happy to see her or something? Did something happen?"
"Something happened to her and I promised I won't say anything but she doesn't deserve it. She's a decent woman."
I sat forward and put my head in my hands.
"What am I doing Bea?"
"What do you mean?"
"With her. I can't have her. Who am I kidding, I'm getting both our hopes up and it's really not fair. I'm not a good person."
"Oi Doyle snap out of it. You're Franky Doyle. Best person I know. You're special to her don't worry about it."
"Yeah your right its nothing. You know me I ain't going soft."
"Yeah of course Franky, you got your reputation to uphold and everything."
"Of course queen Bea, anyway I'm back on kitchen duty, they rebuilt it after the fire, thank fuck for hot meals."
"Give me a shout if you need anything Franky"
"Yeah I will do thanks"
The girls came back over and continued with their game of cards while I went back in to my cell. Kitchen duty wasn't for another half hour and I dunno when I can next see Bridget as they've locked us in H2. Hopefully that will be the next thing to change.

I must've fell asleep when waiting for kitchen duties as the next thing I know Bridget was banging on my cell door. I swung the door open.
"Well hey you sure know how to wake a lady in a good mood."
"Sorry but you're late for your job"
"Yeah I must've dozed off, it happens."
"Not to Franky Doyle it doesn't, she's never late. So what's bothering you then?"
"It's nothing  Gidget you don't have to worry, let's head to the kitchen."
"Hmm okay, I'm not gonna drop this by the way."
"Oh I know but I'm pretty stubborn as well."
"Hmm I never noticed..."
Bridget rolled her eyes and walked out my cell with a smirk on her face. That's what I like to see.

Bridget's P.O.V
I asked Vera if I could also supervise the kitchen when the inmates are on duty in there as it means I can see Franky a lot more and there has been a lot of staff cuts because of the fire and I know it would save Vera the stress of finding someone. Vera agreed although it did take a lot of persuasion as she doesn't want me to jeopardise me career which obviously I won't.

I walked down to the kitchen to see it completely empty. There's supposed to be people in here. Franky's supposed to be in here. She runs it. I paced down to H2 and swiped the gate open. Bea was sat on the table while the other girls was watching the tv.
"Is everything okay Miss Westfall?"
"Uh yes everything is fine Bea. Have you seen Franky she didn't show up to her kitchen duty?"
"No I haven't seen her come out of her cell actually, do you want me to get her?"
"No no I will get her"
I went over to her cell door and knocked on it. No response. I banged a bit harder several more times. Still no response. I then banged on the door harder on we more. The door clicked unlocked and there stood Franky, half asleep.

I stood outside of Franky's cell while she got dressed. Franky stormed out and didn't even acknowledge me. What have I done? We walked down to the kitchen in complete silence. It was almost awkward to be around her. Has someone said something? We got into the kitchen and no other inmates was there.
"Franky do you want me to get Vera to get the rest of the inmates to help you out?"
"No I can do it."
"Are you sure."
"Yes I said no now leave me alone"
"Franky what's up?"
"Nothing alright I just want to get on with this."
I cautiously stepped towards her.
"Come on you can talk to me."
"Well what if I don't want you to psych eval me"
"It wouldn't be like that you can trust me. What happened to the Franky I saw this morning? I thought you'd be happy to see me."
"Just drop it I have a lot of work to do and it's just me today."
I grabbed her arms and spun her to face me.
"Look at me."
Franky put her head down and tries to pull away from me but I wasn't going to let her go anywhere.
"Franky! Stop what you're doing and look at me. I'm not going to leave here until you talk to me and neither are you so what is it?"
"It's nothing.... It's stupid. It's really not worth it. I'm not worth it."
"Don't be stupid. I got my job back because of you, so I could see you. I didn't want to wait a whole year until I could see you again. Talk to me please"
The last part came out as almost a whisper.
"Look it's my fault, everything is my fault. Look at you, you're covered in bruises all because of me. I don't deserve you. You're way too smart and beautiful and you can have a life. I'm the complete opposite. I'm never leaving this place, I'm gonna live in teal sweatpants for the rest of my life. And I can't stop thinking about the fire. I almost died Bridget. I can't sleep, I can't remember the last time I actually slept through the whole night. That's why I overslept today because seeing you today and being able to touch you calmed me. I was able to think clearly and I actually slept for a bit. That scared me how much you managed to calm me and not think about what happened. No-one has ever cares like you do."
"Franky you sound like you have ptsd from the fire and don't be silly you didn't cause this it was my lousy taste in men which explains why I'm a lesbian as I have found something special in you."
