"Be safe okay son?"
Mrs. Zhang said her voice thick with sadness as she fixed her son's hair within the airport's lobby.
FLIGHT 237 BOARDING FOR SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA.
The intercom announcement came again, once more alerting the Zhang's that the time had come for their son's departure.
"I'll call you everyday mom."
"Mm!"
His mom nodded her eyes glistening with unshed tears as Yixing picked up his luggage and made his way to the entry gate.
"EAT PROPERLY! DON'T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR VITAMINS!"
Mrs. Zhang yelled as her son enterred the gate, her husband hugging her as she sobbed in sorrow.
"Do you think he'll be alright honey?"
Mr. Zhang looked at his son's fading figure a slight sadness tugging at his heart.
"He's your son Mao Mei. Even if difficulties face him in the unknown I'm sure he'll make it through because he's strong just like his mother."
