Summary: Lauren had been so caught up with work lately that she had not realized she was neglecting Camila.

Lauren walked into her office this morning to find stacks of paperwork piled up onto her desk.

"God damn it" Lauren muttered to herself.

She new that with all this work that sat on her desk, today was going to be a stressful day. At this point Lauren had enough of her job. She came in almost every morning to be met with a new obstacle awaiting her. Lauren usually never got this much paperwork unless her coworkers were out of town. She envied the amount of vacation leave her coworkers had. Eight hours at her desk and one lunch break later and she still wasn't done filling out all those papers. Lauren usually only worked eight hours a day, so knowing that she had at least two more hours of papers work frustrated her to the brim.

"Finally" Lauren said in relief, as she finished the last paper.

Lauren packed up her bag and headed for her car in record time. She put on the radio before making her fifteen minute journey to the apartment she shared with her girlfriend, Camila.

"Hey babe!" Lauren shouted as she entered the apartment.

"Hey Lo! I'm in the kitchen" Camila shouted back.

Lauren walked to the kitchen and greeted her girlfriend with a peck on the lips.

"How was your day?" The younger girl said, while stirring dinner in the pot.

"So stressful. Dinah, Ally, and Normani are still on vacation so I get all their paperwork" the older girl said, cringing at her words.

"Still? Wow I'm sorry baby. Is there anything I can do? Camila said.

"No but thank you. I think I'm going to go take a shower and go to sleep. Lauren said.

"Go to sleep? I'm making dinner. Don't you want to eat with me?" Camila asked.

"It looks delicious but I'm exhausted" Lauren said, hugging Camila from behind. "Goodnight" Lauren whispered right before kissing her girlfriend on the cheek.

"Wait! Can we at least watch a movie together in bed?" The brown eyed girl frowned.

"Maybe tomorrow Camz" Lauren said, right before departing to the stairs.

Lately Camila has been feeling like Lauren hasn't been paying much attention to her. She goes to work and then comes home and is lucky if she gets to talk to Lauren for more than 10 minutes. The worst part is Camila can't remember when the last time Lauren said "I love you."

Camila sat on the couch with a bowl in one hand, and the TV remote in the other. Nothing she hadn't accustomed to this past month. The younger girl sat there alone, flipping through the channels until she came across a certain sappy movie that Lauren and her enjoyed watching together. "The Notebook" is the one movie that reminded Camila of her girlfriend. They've stayed up countless nights before to watch it.

Camila kept the movie on, but she felt weird watching it without Lauren. The constant exchange of "I love you" being shown on the screen made Camila feel some type of way. She missed Lauren. She missed the way Lauren would come home and talk with her for hours. She missed the way she would cuddle up to Lauren when they were going to sleep. She missed the way Lauren would kiss her right before she told her that she loved her. She just missed the Lauren she knew before all the work stressed her out. She missed her girlfriend.

At this point Camila was crying hysterically. It was the kind of cry that you tried to keep quiet, but ended up being loud anyways. Camila was so caught up in her emotions, she didn't hear the older girls come down the stairs.
