"A tall skeleton dressed in white"
Lingers in the dark of the night.
Its silvery bones gives me a shiver,
Beneath the moon, just a sliver.
I sneak around the skinless man,
Keeping warm air in my hands.
No snow falls on the cobble this night,
The moon is not all that bright.
I feel the man's aura 'round,
As my shoes slip 'cross the icy ground.
I know that I mustn't linger,
As he lifts his colorless finger.
I know I can't say in this space,
I start to quicken my sauntered pace.
He turns to look into my eyes.
He has seen through my disguise.
My life flashs
He's here,
Oh dear,
Goodbye.
