Authors Note: I hope you readers enjoy my new story, yes it is basically based on The Vampire Diaries with a dash of twist in it.

Mystic Falls, was a small town most people never really heard of. It was peaceful, it was safe to walk around if you were alone, everyone knew each other. I look out the window, as the driver drives into a large beautiful home, me and my father will be living in for a few months, or even actually settle in for longer than a few months. The driver stops, I see him get out the car and then he walks towards my side of the car opening the door for me. I smile slightly at him showing off my white, straight teeth. He pulls out his hand for me to hold onto it, I held his hand softly and step out of the car slowly. I gasp softly finally seeing a perfectly good view of the beautiful mansion.

My father stands beside me, he pulls out a cigar placing it at the edge of his lips. Then he grabs a lighter, lighting up the cigar. He takes it between his fingers leaning towards me, "quite beautiful isn't it Florence? This is what you wanted and your wish is my command".

"Look who has finally showed up", a man comes out of the large home, walking down the stairs. He finally stands in front of us holding out his hand for my father, shaking it firmly. Then he looks at me leaning in, kissing my left cheek, and then my right holding my hands gently.

My father smiles holding on to his cigar, twirling it between his fingers, "Mr. Salvatore, please show us this magnificent home you allow us to stay in."

Mr. Salvatore nodded and hold up his finger to gesture us to give him a minute. "Boys! Please help Mr. DeLisi and his daughter with their luggages."

I look ahead of him holding my hands together, I see both handsome Salvatore brothers walking down the stairs. I look at the boy with dark brown hair, his piercing blue eyes glued onto me, the way he was looking at me is the way every woman wanted to be look at by every man, his eyes full of passion...

I roll over from the other side of my bed, feeling a burning sensation on my face, and arms. I open my eyes widely groaning in pain, I sprint away from my bed where the bright burning sun was. I close the curtain quickly feeling my skin that was full of blisters heal, I look at my wrist not seeing my daylight bracelet. I raise my right eyebrow in confusion not remembering where I misplaced it, or even thought of taking it off of me. "Um, are you looking for this?" I hear a familiar low voice from across the room.

I turn around seeing my dad sitting on a chair in front of my bed. He dangled the daylight bracelet around, then looking up at me with a smirk on his face. I frown slightly walking over to him and snatching my bracelet out of his hand. "What are you doing here? I told you I can take care of myself", I say sternly putting the bracelet back on while walking back over to the wide window opening the curtains.

My dad rests his arms on the edges of the chair, he clears his throat sighing "well my duty is to protect you and you should be glad I check up on you once in a blue moon Flo". He says softly finally getting up from the chair, fixing his leather jacket.

I lean against the window crossing my arms, looking at him blankly. My dad finally left me on my own for 110 years now, I have been with him for 90 years being protected by him. I'm not sure why I have been with him for his safety for that long if I can completely handle things on my own. C'mon I'm 404 years old, the older I get the stronger I'll become. "Yes I'm happy, but seriously I have things to do dad."
