4 am.

Bags packed.

"We're going to Europe!" my mom hollered excitedly from downstairs. I couldn't help but be a bit excited myself. I mean, I'm 18; I've never been out of this country, let alone continent! How could you not be excited?

For the past week I've been making a to-do list for as soon as we get into Paris, France. School let out 2 days ago and now I get to spend the rest of my three month summer vacation traveling throughout Europe!

My family has been wanting to do this for years now but we've been really tight on money. We finally have enough and ugh this is just going to be this best summer ever!

We got to the airport which was only about an hour drive. It took about another hour to go through security and have all of our luggage checked.

I can't believe this is really happening!

My mom told me that her, my dad, and my brother, Justin we're going to go grab some food. I told her that I'm not hungry and that I'm just going to walk around the airport some more.

About 45 minutes later my mom called me and said that there is a lot of people that they are trying to get through and for me to get in line awhile- they'll be there shortly.

I obeyed but the line moved quicker than I thought. I called my mom and told her that I'm about to get on the plane. She told me that she would be right on and they're almost there.

35 minutes past and I was seated on the plane with my luggage all away. I was a bit worried because my family was nowhere in sight. I got my phone out and started texting my mom.

Just then a tall blonde boy who looked about my age sat down in the seat next to me. I ignored it.

Me: Hey Mom, I was just wondering if you were almost here because the plane is soon taking off. Maybe I just don't see you if we aren't seating near each other. After all- it is pretty packed in here!

Mom: Honey, what are you talking about? The plane took of 10 minutes ago!

Me: Mom.. I think I'm on the wrong plane..

I lost cellular connection.

This can't be good.
