Chapter 3

I shot up in my bed, clutching my head in my hands. 'I can't do this anymore!' I felt cold beads of sweat forming on my forehead. 'M-Maybe, if I get to (Y/n) before she gets to the park, this'll stop.'

I jumped up and raced to get dressed. I quickly checked the time then raced out of my apartment and down the stairs.

As soon as (Y/n) was in my sight I slowed down to a jog. "Bella!" I shouted in hopes of stopping her. She turned to me with a shocked look.

"Feliciano? What's wrong?" She questioned with concern lacing her voice. I smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of my neck. "N-Nothing is wrong. I was just wondering if you'd rather hang out at my place?" I asked nervously.

You smiled and nodded, "Yeah, we can go to your place Feli." I sighed out of relief, grabbing your hand I ran off in the direction of my apartment, unconsciously lacing my fingers with yours.

You chuckled, "Feli, what's with the hurry?" I shrugged and turned down the street that led to my apartment building, my heart pounding in my chest. 'Almost there..' "I'm just excited, Bella."

The apartment building soon came into view. I sighed in relief and started racing up the steps. 'Yes! Almost there!' I looked up towards my apartment and my heart stopped. I froze in place, time seemed to slow down as a shocked gasp rang out into the air. Luciano was leaning against the railing, a smug smirk gracing his face.

I looked down to see you falling. Fear gripped me, slowing my movements as I tried to reach for your hand. I was too slow, and before I knew it you were on the ground. Your blood started to stain the pavement. I slowly sat on the step, a strangled sob escaping my throat.

'I can't take this anymore.' I buried my head in my hands. Luciano's sick chuckling was heard as he patted my shoulder.

Everything faded to black once more.
