Chapter 2: Don't Go

(DEVON'S POV)

Finally the yelling stops and i hear the door slam closed. I get out of bed and look out my window to see my brother leaving. I throw on a hoodie and my purple vans and run after him. I follow him into an alley only to see him talking to a couple of guys i really hope he's not doing drugs again. Suddenly an arm grabs me and says " well well well look what we have here." He pulls me to where Tommy's at and he looks at me and says " NO! She is not involved let her go right now!" The guy holding me then says "Oh such a pretty face it would be a shame if something were to happen to her where is my money Tommy" I throw my head back and elbow him in the chest and he lets go i run behind Tommy and say " touch me again and i'll kill you asshole!" Now there's six guys around us. Two of them grab Tommy and one grabs me i scream " NO! Please let him go please he's the only family i've got" They start to hit Tommy and i start to cry and one guy turns to me and slaps me across my face and punches me in the gut. They continue to beat me up Tommy as well i think of my favorite Disney movie and remember if you wanna go to Neverland you have to say something so i screamed " I BELIEVE" and nothing happens. I get slapped and punched again. I look to Tommy and hes bleeding and trying not to cry.  All of a sudden this black shadow appears with yellow glowing eyes. It grabs me and flies away as Tommy yells " I'll find you Devon i promise." We are over an ocean and i'm hoping this shadow doesn't drop me but he does and i scream as i fall into the cold dark black ocean. I try to swim but can't see or move and i start to drown. All of a sudden i feel an arm wrap around my waist and pull me out and onto a beach. I see a boy staring at me and then everything goes dark.
