Chapter 2: The Girl on the Side of the Street

   I woke up and looked at my clock.
"8:30. Hmmmmmmm......OH CRAP!" I screamed and jumped out of my bed.
I was later than late for my first day at the DWMA.
I threw on my black vest, my white t-shirt, and my dark grey jeans.
   I ran out the door with a piece of toast in my mouth.
I ran through a crowd of people who were surrounding something, more like someone.
   But I would check that out later.
I finally got to the DWMA and ran up the stairs.
   "AGG! ARE YOU SERIOUS!" I tripped and fell.
"Late and fell. You need help?" I looked up and saw Soul.
   "Yes, what's it look like?"
"And feisty! Wow you must have had a bad morning," he laughed.
"Yeah, but I have one thing to ask you," I paused and Soul looked up, "were you waiting for me this hole time?"
He smiled showing all his sharp teeth,
"Yeah! I told you I would show you around yesterday, right? I wouldn't let you down, besides it would be uncool,"
I smiled and stood up.
"You know what, your pretty cool!" I said smiling.
"Thanks!" He said smiling back.

-TIME SKIP, BROUGHT TO YOU BY BLACKSTAR WANTING TO BE A GOD-

After Soul showed me around we went to class.
"Hello, I'm Professor Stein and this is crescent moon class. You must be Kishiko. Nice to meet you," I stood in front of a man with whit hair and stitches all over him.
"Now would you be ever so kind and tell the class who you are?" Stein asked.
I nodded and turned to the class and said,
"Hey, I'm Kishiko Mizuno."
I heard people start whispering after I said my last name.
"No way, all the Mizunos were wiped out by kishins!"
"Do you think she's joking?" I heard them say.
I looked up and then said,
"You know, I can hear you guys, and I am the last Mizuno. My whole clan was wiped out by kishins, yes, but I survived. I hate talking about this, but I'll do what ever it takes to make you believe me," I made my sword appear in my hand.
"Alright. Do you mind taking you seat next to Maka?" He asked pointing to a girl with blonde hair in two pony tails.
She was sitting next to Soul. I assumed Soul was the weapon and she was his meister.
She waves and smiled I smiled back and sat next to her.
"Hey, I saw you talking to Soul yesterday. You think he has a crush on you?" She asked chuckling a bit.
"Whaaaaaat? Nah, We just met and we're actually pretty good friends," I said laughing.
"Ah, now it makes sense!" She laughed too.
      I looked down and actually started paying attention to the class.
"Alright class, today we'll be dissecting a cow." Stein said.
       "Ok, I'm out!" I stood up with my hands up.
"No, no you are not 'out'," Steins said walking up to me and dragging me back to my seat.

-ANOTHER TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY ME BEING LAZY-

  We walked out of Stein's class it was the end of the day and I walked with Maka and Soul and their friends.
During the dissection I met them.
   Blackstar is a ego maniac, Tsubaki is a kind wallflower, Liz is girly, Kid has OCD, and Patty is.....well.....Patty.
"So, Kishiko, wanna hang out with us after school?" Liz asked.
    "Sorry guys, but there was something I needed to take care of, but next time defiantly!" I said grabbing my bag and waving to them.
"All right, see ya guys later!" I waved and walked off.
     I moved my white hair out of my face and pulled out my earbuds and put them in.
I turned on Hello Seattle by Owl City.
    What I had to take care of was that I had it see what the people were crowding around this morning.
I felt some strong power in the middle of that crowd.
     Once I got there I saw something, unexpected.
A girl about one year younger than me with blonde hair and green eyes, she was also wearing cloths that looked old and dirty. She was playing a ukulele.
    I pulled my earbuds out and heard she stopped playing and looked at me. 
"Oh! Hi! You look like you'd like this song!" She said smiling.
     "Ok, let's hear it." I handed her a dollar but she refused it.
She started playing and I recognized it: she was playing one of my favorite songs, We Don't Believe What's on TV, by Twenty One Pilots. (PLAY THE SONG NOW! If it's not on here, look it up and listen to it!)
      "Wow this kid's good!" I thought.
She strummed the chords and it sounded like it was the recording!

-YET ANOTHER TIME SKIP BECAUSE I'M BEING NICE AND LETTING YOU ALL LISTEN TO THE SONG! (Plus I don't want to write down all the lyrics)
    "Geez, your good!" I exclaimed.
"Thanks's" the girl smiled and set down her ukulele.
I reached into my pocket and found twenty dollars.
"Here, you deserve it," I said heading it to her.
"No, no I don't. I'm just a dirty street rat, I don't need that. I don't even know why you're talking to me," she said looking down.
"Well, if I can't give the money to you, you'll just have to come live with me," I said boredly.
"W-what?! I can't just come and take over your home!" She yelled.
"You live on the streets, I saw your soul and besides, you aren't kishin plus you seem to be a weapon.
         "You have a partner?" I asked her.
I can see souls so I took advantage of that and got a good look at her soul when she started playing.
"Yeah, but he left to try to find his brother," she said sadly.
"Really? What's his name?" I asked.
"Blaze," she said solemnly.
"Are you a weapon?" I asked.
"Yeah," she replied.
"Well, since Blaze is gone I can help you!" I exclaimed putting my hands in my pockets smiling down at her.
"R-really?!" She grinned.
"Yep, so come on," I smiled, "oh I didn't catch your name!" She grabbed her ukulele and looked up.
"Skylark Conners. But you can call me Sky if you like," she smiled at me.
"Alright then, Sky," I held my hand out and grinned,

"Let's go home,"

LET'S ALL ADMIT THAT WAS TERRIBLE!!! Yay I did it! Well, another chapter done and yay!
