Storm
"It's time to sign in ladies!" Ms. Hope and Mrs. Grey shouted as they blew a loud horn that can cause you to loose your hearing. Man I hate the fact we have to get up at 5 in the morning just to sign our names on some bullshit sheet of paper, I mean they check our rooms every night at the times 12am & 2am.
It was 4 girls to a room & all the rooms pretty much looked the same. 4 twin bed's, 4 dressers, 1 bathroom, oh yeah and 4 alarm clocks on each dresser, they made sure of that.
I shared a room with Kyla, Lauren, & my cousin Rain. I got along with Kyla & Lauren just fine, I wouldn't call them friends I just met them a month ago. Of course Rain & I got along we are more than cousins were sisters. Rain & I been at this hell whole for 2 year's, to make a long story short why were here my mom was a junky whore who abandoned me at the age of nine. Rain's dad, which is my mom's brother was doing life in prison for drug trafficking, extortion, & 1st degree murder. We been in the system since we were eleven years old.
"Get up Storm I know you heard them loud ass horns, it's already 5:13am we got 8 minutes to sign in before them bitches trip about us unplugging the alarm clocks!" Rain said as she shook me, over reacting as usual.
"You're trippin, it only take us 1 minute to go downstairs & sign in, for your FYI I did hear them loud ass horns! I planned on going to sign in at 5:16am but you just fucked that up" I said I open my eye's and got up with an attitude.
All 4 of us left the room at the same time. One thing I can say about us is that we all look out for each other unlike the rest of the girl's here they like doing petty shit to one another.
After that sign in bullshit I just decided to stay up and get ready for school. I washed my face and brush my teeth, I already took a shower last night so I just threw on my uniform and put my hair in a sloppy bun. I waited for Rain, Kyla, & Lauren then we all headed to the cafeteria for breakfast. This hell hole has the nerve to be one big stupid building with at least 10 floor's.
"Man they always tryna serve these nasty ass sausages along with them dry ass egg's" Rain smacked her lips and said as we waited in line.
"They tryna poison us man, that's why I fuck with cereal or bagels with cream cheese" I commented.
"Aye man I'm tryna give one of these lock up hoe's some milk !" I heard this one nigga Ken say as the group of them cut the line.
These niggas so ignorant that's why I would never take a lil boy serious. I mean damn the line already long as fuck. I got in front of Ken & his clique, there was no way in hell I'm letting them cut in front of me.
"You betta be lucky you're cute " Ken whispered in my ear.
"I know you betta get outta my ear! I really don't give a fuck if I was ugly" I turned around facing him.
"Damn all eye's on us, say hey or something!" Rain said loud enough for looking bitches to hear as she walk towards me with Kyla & Lauren.
"Damn so all y'all just gone cut huh?" Ken said smirking.
"Hell yeah! You did the same to us" Rain commented blushing hard.
"Imma let y'all slide this time!" Ken said with the smirk that never left his face.
"You ain't had no choice!" Rain said smiling.
10 minutes later we finally sat down and ate our food. See this is like a school for the hard knocks, you either court ordered to be here, low credit's, or bad behavior, if you was in the system you had to live here. It's fucked up that if you live here you're viewed as lock up hoe, dare a muthafucka to call me one to my face.
"Ummm Ken belongs to me just let bitches know!" Some trash named Brenda said walking up to our table.
"Well you betta get ya nigga cause he on me!" Rain responded as all four of laughed at the joke in front our table.
Ken brushed right passed Brenda as him & his clique sat down at our table.
"Aye Ken this yo bitch?" I asked laughing.
"Hell nawl!" Ken said laughing.
"Aww poor Brenda!" Rain said sarcastically as Brenda walked away.
We laughed and talked shit until it was time to go to class.
- I know it's kinda short but believe me it gets better!
