Chapter 1: Notice me SENPAI!

Kumiko's PoV:
I looked over to Tadayoshi , who was in his usual spot by the tree , and he waved to me. I waved back to him before I heard "Kumiko , you're up next!" My best friend - Michiko - called me up. I picked up my baseball bat and waited for the pitcher to pitch the ball to me and I swung. The ball flew across the field into the hands of Michiko. She grinned and shouted to me "You're out!" I glumly walked off the field as I looked over to Tadayoshi who looked shocked. This was the first time I've been caught out in two years! Luckily this was just practice.
I went over to the changing rooms and got changed. Tadayoshi was waiting for me. "How did YOU get caught out Kumi-sama?" I shrugged and said "It's nothing." I walked over to the vending machine to buy a drink and felt someone staring at me. It wasn't Tadayoshi as he was trying to open a juice carton. I looked round the corner and saw two red eyes glaring at me. Shivers ran down my spine , my drink dropped down to the collection area and I picked it up. I glanced back round the corner but saw nothing. I ran back over to Tadayoshi and ignored what happened.

Tadayoshi's PoV:
Kumiko and I live next door to each other , so we walked home together. Michiko lives with her too because her mother was murdered and Kumiko and her dad took her in. We've all known each other 13 years and every day I love Kumi-sama more! If only Kumi would notice....We arrive at our houses and wave goodbye to each other and Kumiko skips down to her door and I walk glumly down to mine. Unlocking our doors , we enter our houses. I slump down the door and start weeping into my hands. I hear a creak and look up. "Kumi..." A voice whispers. Alarmed , I stand up and shout "Who's there?" I see a familiar girl and gasp. "Michiko!" She has blood splattered on her and she's shaking. "Kumi......is dead!"
