Ok guys this is my first story so I apologize if it's not that good! But I hope you like it! Oddly it's based on my life so I didn't make this up! It's based on experience, I hear the best stories come from the heart! And this one did! So enjoy! :)

How can someone's life go from horrible to amazing to even worse than before to perfect, in such a small amount of time? You're about to find out! Hi, I'm Cameron Teslow and this is my story.

*beep beep beep* The annoying sound of my alarm clock woke me up at 7:30am. Ugh, another miserable day of school, I'm giddy with pleasure (phftt as if). Same as every other day I got out of bed and got dressed. I ran my brush through my long, wavy, brown hair. I looked in the mirror to see how I looked. Meh, good enough. I skipped out on my breakfast, seeing as I didn't really have time for it anyways, grabbed my back pack and rushed out the door.

I got to school just before the bell and hurried to math class. My favorite class. "Cameron!!" my two best friends, Sarah and May, ran up to squeeze the life outta me (or what they call a hug). "Well hello to you too." I giggled in reply. As I take my seat next to Sarah I get a shy and subtle 'hey' from my best guy friend, Will. Ah yes, Will Lancaster. Smart, athletic, kind, good looking, talented, and popular. Awesome sounding guy right? Well he's so much more. You see, I've liked Will for about 2 years now only to wake up a few months ago and realize 'hey, I actually love this kid' I know, weird right? "Hey!" I replied swiftly, turning away quick.

"Alright class, no big intros today. Just get to work on page 303 in your text books, questions 4-10." Immediately Sarah and I turned around to sit at the table where May and Cade are seated. Within a matter of seconds Ryan, Jess, and Will are sitting with us. I hope there's no fighting today. Confused? Let me enlighten you. In my school we have cliques. Will, Ryan, Jess, and Cade are part of the popular boys, or as me and my friends call them 'the Rude Crew' (none of us consider Will rude though). The leader of the Rude Crew? James Prescott. Even though they're all my friends, they have a feud with the rest of my clique. They call us 'the Drama Queens' (soooo original 😒). Who's the leader of that group? Oh yeah, that's me! Even though the boys refuse to admit that I'm anything like my girl friends.

As everyone else begins to chat and laugh about our usual incredibly strange conversations, Ryan pulls me aside. "When are you gunna tell him?!" Ok, I know this kid's weird but what the heck was he talking about? "Huh," I replied highly confused. "what are you talking about?" "Will! When are you going to tell him that you like him?" He was smiling like an idiot. I playfully punched his shoulder. "I don't like Will!" I wasn't very convincing. He rolled his eyes. "Oh please, I know you Cam. The fact that you're 'gaga' over Will is more obvious than Cade crushin' on you." "Cade likes me?" I knew he did but I was hoping this would change the subject. "Don't change the subject Cameron," can he read my mind? "just man up! Take a risk and tell him, maybe he'll feel the same." Crap, well obviously he knows and won't let me convince him otherwise so I give, I give. "Ok ok! Fine! Maybe I kinda... sorta... do like Will... a lot. But I don't think he feels the same..."

"Hey!" A familiar voice said. "Oh, hey Will." I really hope Ryan didn't tell Will about our convo earlier, I'm still mad at myself for telling him the truth. "Are you ok?" "Yeah, I'm fine. Why?" "Cam, you're my best friend! I know when something's wrong." He looked at me with concern. Gosh he was adorable. I swear, for that moment, when I was staring into his sparkling brown eyes I was dreaming. I couldn't speak. Too mesmerized. "Cam?!" He clapped his hands infront of my face. Back to reality. Fuck. "I uh, gotta go." I said stuttering. I stood up off the bench and walked away quickly, not looking back.

After I got home I started to think about what Ryan said in math. I do have to take a risk, but how should I tell him? "Maybe I should write him a note." "Who?" "Huh?" "Who are you writing a note to?" My mom asked. Shit, thinking out loud again. "Uh, no one." "It's a crush isn't it? Or more specifically, Will?" She smiled. I was shocked, I really didn't think it was that obvious. Me and Will were best friends. Yet already 2 people in 1 day have figured it out. "How did you know?" "It's called a mothers intuition, plus it's kind of obvious." She laughed. "Yeah, so I've heard... Well I don't know how to tell him, I sorta get the feeling he might feel the same but if he doesn't then there goes my best friend. Ugh! This is so stressful!" I stormed into my room without another word, avoiding anymore boy talk with my mother.
