The challenge

Lucy P.O.V

I stormed outside thinking why did Master call me Violet? That name did suit the new me but not the actual me. Deep down I was hurting. The way Natsu looked at Lisanna with worry and how he asked me about Igneel, I wanted to say but I can't I'm there Queen and I need to protect them.  

But then I realised what dragon slayer magic should I use. I guess I was thinking too much because I stopped walking and Natsu walked into me.
"Sorry, I was........ lost in thought." I said as I bowed then continued walking he must've figured it out because he called out after to me
"Luce?!" I was about to burst out in tears I needed to reply or he would know. I turned around and said
"I'm sorry I'm not this Luce that you talk of but I have heard of a Lucy if you would like to know?" Oh no why have I done now I'm gonna have to make a story up.

Natsu P.O.V

"I have heard of a Lucy if you do would like to know?" She asked then looked sad and worried at me. Of course I wanted to know but it looked like it would be bring back bad memories so I said.
"Only if you want too." She looked like she was gonna burst into tears.

"Okay it all started about seven years ago I saw a blonde girl walking around sabertooth guild she was crying and looked like the most saddest person I've ever seen. She told me that her name was Lucy and that she was kicked out of her guild and wasn't wanted anymore. I tried to help her but she bursted into tears again and ran away, and that's the only Lucy I've met."

Lucy P.O.V

I guess I should know what dragon slayer magic to use I did train with All of the dragons I guess........ I don't know after telling Natsu the story of practically of what happened to me he just said."Oh thanks" and walked off. I followed him and tried to pretend I don't know where I'm going. Then I got which magic I should use Shadow Dragon Slayer Magic. Natsu lead me outside and everyone gathered around us then the fun really started!

Natsu P.O.V

I can't believe she said that to me, I'm angry but that move brings back memories of future Lucy and my Lucy who am I kidding I'm terrible I ignored her for like forever and then kicked her out of my guild only too be killed.I wonder what magic this chick uses. "Ladies first" said this Violet girl I was getting all fired up
"Now I'm getting fired up" I said in retaliation. "You go first Mr Dragoneel" she said so I did (A/N I suck at fights so here we go btw leave a comment I it was okay)
"Fire Dragon Roar" I chanted and Violet just stood there I was about to scream at her to do something but the flames just danced around her then dropped to the floor into a circle she was not affected at all how powerful is she?!

Lucy's P.O.V  

Wow I forgot about that oops I probably should use fire magic so it kinda explains how that happened but oh well I'm not gonna do that.He stares at me with amazement like he's never seen that happen before but I'm going to bring back memories. I start my chant with "Shadow dragons blade" he looks like he's going to die from terrible memories of me, just before it hits him he dodges the attack and says "What are you?"

Then before I could even speak he attacks me yelling 

 "Fire dragon roar!!!!" I eat it and start to think that I should've at least told him he WAS my best friend then Lissana came back.

I can't handle it anymore and with that I just snapped I just hated and loved him so much that I just can't............

"I can't do this I'm sorry we can fight tomorrow I'm just not feeling up to it right now," and he walks off. I guess he forgot about my challenge of him coming on my quest. "WAIT YOU CAN'T LEAVE MY CHALLENGE YOU ARE A SISSY!" I yell as loud as I can. He turns around only to reveal that he was crying, I've never seen him cry like this  it was so cute but I have to remember what he did too me. He replaced me and after the vowel he said to me I thought we were going to be together.

" Lucy as long as we are friends and share Fairy Tail as our guild I will always protect you. And I will always be there for you and when the times get bad I'll be there"
