Beauty in the field part 3

It was a couple of weeks later and me and abbey decided to get another horse for the riding school it was a mare and we called her dotty she was amazing we trained her to be in the riding school and as time went by we made her so soft and manageable. Abbey reminded me that we needed to sort out latest horse toby he was unbroken to ride so we had to break him in our self it wasnt easy we got hurt abbey got her foot stood on and I got flung off it wasnt the best time to be training him because all he done his whole life was live in a field with other horses. Toby was 4 coming up 5 but we wouldnt put him in the riding school untill he was 8 so we gave him to one of our staff she trained him untill he was 8 and then we put him in the riding school but shortly after we were noticing that he was limping we assumed he was lame so we called the vets and the vet came straight away she said he was in perfect condition and that he had just hurt his frog. it became more and more seriouse and in total we paid £1000 pound for the vets because of his lameless. The only other thing was to put him down but I built a bond with him so we didnt really want too. he got better and better each day and we got him a helper who loved him to pieces to look after him she loved him to pieces and soon she asked is she could buy him I didnt want him to go because he was like family but I told her no for a reason he was needed in the riding school I told her that she could still look after him but it was a big responsibility and each day she fed him and well looked after him I told her that if he was no good for the riding school she could have him on full loan but if he was good for the riding school she could look after him like she has been doing.

it was a sunday afternoon and toby took bad again so we called the vet but it was much worse he was trying to roll in his stall and he couldnt get up he got put on life support and me and abbey stayed with him all night there was only a moment in my whole time with him I though what would sophie so if she found out because she looked after him and I was just panaking and abbey had to calm me down a couple of hours later he couldnt eat or drink me and abney had to hand feed him but even that didnt work. The vet put a tube down his nose to put food into his stomach. I couldnt stand and watch this happen so I went outside for some fresh air because it was hot and stuffy. The vet said there was only one thing to do and that was to put him down he was lying down and his head was on my legs I weaped and I was so upset I was just in pieces she put the needle into him and I watched his eyes slowly close it was a horrific night. We got his ashes and spread them around the yard and we even the two dog were upset. we got over toby in time and then we decided to build more stables for the liverys me and abbey had the big stables for Blue Beauty and ted poppy pye. It was a sunny day and me and abbey got staff to work most of the time it was a couple of years and Ted was coming up 14 it was quite a while and poppy was 12 and pye was 10 they were all healthy horses. I rode ted out most of the time but I still rode beauty. She was really naughty and really strong when she was on a hack but she was perfect in the arena and she was schooling nicely I put her into the riding school so she couod learn it was amazing because when she came back she was a little better. After we sent her away to a trainer and when she came back she was like a new horse. It was amazing me and abbey rode her out and she wasnt strong she was amazing we were so happy.

The next day me and abbey went to our favourite place RIDE 'N' STYLE we bought salt lik and a likit for ted and blue and we bought apples aswell as carrots. All the schoolies were well looked after.

When me and abbey got home we decided to buy the schoolies new rugs. We got them measured and we made the girls have pink and purple and the boys turqoise and baby blue but as per usual the horses would always roll in the winter when they were out. Me and abbey took the horses out on a hack i took beauty and ted and abbey took blue poppy ted and poppy were not etting riden but we walked them out wiht us the had there bridle on and a lead ropewe cantered up hills and we galloped with the horses along the race track we raced them up and down but then we headed bavk but suddenly poppy got spooked and bolted off we were galloping after her and the last thing we wanted was ted to stop and eaat but he did and we caught up me and abbey split up and we aranged to meet at the white horse and as I was going along Ted found poppy I quickly galloped up the hill the the white horse abbey was just about to shout "RACHAEL" when i came racing round the corner with her. We headed back when we got back we told the staff about the wild goose chase trying to find poppy. Me and Abbey were wondering weather to separate the ponys from there mam. We put poppy up for sale but verytime people came to view her she reared full hight and bucked full hight so we decided just to loan her but she was still the same. So we decided to just keep her no loaning or selling. Me and Abbey were walking down to the field on saturday morining to get the scholies in there was 3 helpers to get 2 horses each we were on the way back up to the stable when candys head collar slipped off i gave abbey the other 4 horses and i quickly ran and put the head collar back on. I took back the 4 horses and we headed back to the stables as soon as we got there we put there tack on.

Me and abbey wre schooling all the school horses to see if they were compleatly bombproof al the horses were even for tacking up i rode Ted and pye in the area and they were very good horses people came to the stables and asked " how much is the black horse with a white stripe" i replied "he is not for sale sorry but he is mine". " well how much is the brown horse with a white stripe" ehem she screamed. I turned around and said " none of the horses are for sale apart from pepsi he is quite small but would d for a companion pony. They went to view him and they asked for him on loan. I said yes but as long as he stayed here. A couple of days later I found pepsi lying on the floor seriously ill I rang the part owner and said " ive just found you oa horse left on the side of the field what do call this he isnt your and im dropping the loan " she told me that was fine and that she would pay the vet bills. we got the vet and she said he had collic and it wasnt treated as it should have been so little pepsi became a schoolie again. Me and Abbey were working a day a week each and for the 6 days left we exercised the schoolies if they weren't worked more that 3 times. Me and Abbey enjoyed working at our stables it was our dream and it came true we made plans since we were 13 and we are now 20.
