Dear Diary

I couldn't believe my eyes this morning. I woke and went down stairs. Samantha's head was sitting on the table. Blood was spilling over the sides and onto the floor. Her body was mangled near by as though she had been rinsed our like a cloth. I felt sick.

Will this ever end?

There was a message however written in blood on the table. It said:

'You can't run, you can't hide, face me and face your fate!'

I took a cross from the wall and ran to my house deciding to wait for the priest. I'm so scared. The police are still searching for me, they could come here at any time, all I can hope is that no one saw me coming here. I should have phoned them about Samantha but that would have been no good, I would have been arrested and done for murder even though I am innocent.

Jimmy turned up. He was angry. He wanted to kill me. I held the cross tight to my chest, I prayed.
But Jimmy didn't leave. I wanted to scream and shout at him to go away but I know he wouldn't care.

The priest came but he took a very long time. He couldn't see Jimmy. He drew a sort of star in a circle on the wooden floor in the living room.

He had a box and lots of different things. He told me to chant the father's prayer. I did as I was told; I hope he knows what he's doing.

The priest prayed and splashed holy water around.

This only made Jimmy angry. He cursed and spat at me.

Things started to fly around the room. I don't think this is going to work. Jimmy is very angry and he doesn't want to go. He's really strong. The air is cold and there is a low sinister rumble.
