Ditched (Niall Horan fanfic)

Chapter 5

Helllo I know, I know, I haven't updated for like 5 months, I have been so busy with school and work. I'm in year 11 and everything takes over you a lot, but right now it is the holidays and I thought I might as well write more of this. I miss it so much and I thought you guys might want an update and I'm super sorry again, so here it is an update. :)

We walked out the last apartment.
“I really like that one, plus it is near yours,” Alison said as she walked to the car.
“Now would you like to buy this one?” the real estate agent said as she got the papers out. Alison nodded as I looked at the time on my phone to see it was 4pm.

“I get to pay a mortgage,” Alison laughed as I hugged her.
“So I was thinking lunch or I don’t know,” I said staring at my phone.
“Lunch would be good, how about Saturday?” Alison said as she drove me back to the car park where I left my car.
“Yeah, yeah lunch at Nandos, that’s good,” I smiled as I started to type the message.

Hey Niall, just wondering if you are free next Saturday for lunch with Mike, Alison and I. You can bring the boys also, thinking of meeting at Nandos near that fancy restaurant ;) at around 1pm –Elise

I hit send as we pulled up.
“When do you move in to the apartment?” I asked as we walked over to my car.
“Next Sunday,” she said.
“Well me and Mike will be there to help, if he likes it or not,” I laughed as I unlocked my car.
“Thank you again for helping me, talk later,” Alison said as she hugged me.
“Yes and you too,” I said getting into my car and started to drive back home.

I pulled in to the apartment. There were 2 messages on the answering machine. I pressed play as I took off my shoes.

“Hey babe, going to stay with mum for two nights, she’s not feeling too good, I’ll see you on Tuesday. Love you.” Awesome have the house to myself for two nights, I laughed as the next message played.

“Hey sweetie, hope you and Mike aren’t doing anything tomorrow night, was hoping you could have dinner with your sister and I, will ring Eamon to see if he’s free. Please ring back, love you.” I picked up the phone and dialled mum’s number.

“Hello,” a squeaky voiced answered.
“Emily can I speak to mum please,” I asked.
“MUM,” I heard Emily scream as I unblocked my ear.
“Hello my darling daughter, Elise,” Mum said as she got the phone.
“Hello, mother of mine.”
“How are you?”
“I’m well and you two.”
“Good, good.”
“Well I can go to dinner tomorrow night but Mike won’t be able to, he is staying with his mum for two nights as she is not feeling too good. Is Eamon coming?”
“Oh that’s not too good, yeah he is, we will just have a family dinner. I was thinking that new restaurant near your brother’s house; I hear it is very nice.”
“Yeah that’s all good, what time?”
“Around about 6:30pm and then we’ll go back to Eamon’s house or something, we are also staying at his house so you and Emily could go shopping on Tuesday or something.”
“Fine, okay, I shall see you tomorrow 6:30, bye mum.”
“Goodbye sweetheart.” I hung the phone up and got dress in my pjs and sat in front of the TV to relax.

Nothing was on so I thought I would continue watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and order pizza. A quiet night was just what I needed.

The bright sun sneaked through the curtains as I stretched and got out of bed. I looked at the clock and it read 9am. I stumbled into the shower and got changed into something comfy for a lazy day before dinner tonight. I went and had a bowl of fruit salad and sat in front of the TV to watch the morning news. I checked my phone which was on the charger in the lounge.
