"It's of great pleasure to see fellow students again," The headmistress announced and continued, "Take a seat."

Years had passed since the now parents had graduated Hogwarts, but McGonogall still looked at them as if they were still her students. Harry, Ginny, Hermione and Ron were sitting in the first row, each wizard and witch sat with members of their old school house.

Ginny grips Harry's hand tightly as the headmistress was waiting for silence to start her speech. From the back of the room, Draco Malfoy was glaring at Harry Potter. Harry had saved his life but that didn't make them best friends.

"Draco, don't look at him like that. I know how you feel but just think about Scorpius and Electra, their safety is more important than harsh feelings for Potter and his friends." Whispered Astoria rubbing his arm.

With her touch, Draco let out a sigh and got comfortable in his seat, yet still disturbed. "We are here because of Potter's son, there is no need for us to be here." He affirmed rolling his eyes. "Scorpius knows how to defend himself,"

Astoria sighed and stared at him, "I would like to remind you,"  she stood in front of him, "You've got a daughter as well."

"I know, Astoria," said Draco, "she's got more power that most of us here. She's a clever girl, defending herself should be something she can handle, your brother said that himself, didn't he?"

Astoria looked down and nodded. Just as she opened her mouth, the headmistress began.

"Hogwarts will always be there to welcome everyone home. Hogwarts became a part of me and I'm sure it became a part of all who studied here. It became a place to trust, where your children attend now. As Professor Dumbledore said, "there is no place safer than Hogwarts", but something awful occurred to one of our students, risking other's life. James Potter, a Gryffindor student, was kissed by a dementor on Hallow's eve leaving the poor boy collapsed on the floor. For his own sake, t'professors rushed to him and managed to help him stand steady. I will use this boy as another example, his boggart. James's boggart revealed something that only he could comprehend, but it was no good secret, our defence against the dark arts professor, Claudius Syndergaard had to reach for Madam Pomfrey's infirmary. We need to take precaution for our children, they will be escorted to each and every single class as well to their dormitories."

"Professor, how did the dementor get into school grounds?" Harry stood up with great confusion.

The headmistress adjusted her glasses and began. "Potter, pleasure to see you here. There's still an investigation happening, Professor Syndegaard can go into further details."

"Yes Ms. Granger?" McGonogall called, she grinned.

Hermione took a breath and prepared herself . "Something must be wrong Professo-I meant Headmistress. Dementors don't wander Hogwarts if everything is fine! I've read in books about it. We have to do something..all of us."

The Gryffindors turned to each other and agreed , the Ravenclaws offered to join the investigation and read some texts about dark creatures, the Hufflepuffs volunteered to watch over the students once a schedule was done. Soon, they formed groups and started designing a plan.

The Slytherins were isolated in the back of the room quietly, not speaking to anyone outside their house. McGonogall watched them carefully, she saw in them their innocent souls turned dark by Voldemort. How could someone be so cruel and destroy families and virtuous souls of children ?Flashbacks hit her again, that day in the astronomy tower, when Draco broke down and couldn't kill Dumbledore, task given to him by Voldemort. He was afraid, and most, she was sure that her Slytherin students that became death eaters, did it as a result of fear. Minerva was afraid of their children following the dark path and she was going to do everything in her power to prevent them.Blood status was another issue between students nowadays. Slytherin students who were purebloods, had abhorrence for those who didn't share the same blood status.
