The Night Out

Skye was zippering her jeans when Ward turned around, he fakes a frown then says "You can't stay any longer?"
"I wish I could" she replies with a smile
"C'mon, have some fun" he begs
"I would, but Coulson would kill me" she sighs
"Not even one.. He attempts to grab her waist but she swings out of the way
"I can't.." Her voice trails off
"I'll be back in one hour. You know the drill, Coulson tells us his plan we all nod in agreement then go our separate ways"she responds
"One hour?"Ward raises an eyebrow
"I promise" she says playfully
"Alright have fun" he says jokingly
" I always do" and then she walks out of the room.
One hour later she came back and Ward was waiting patiently on the bed. The second she walked in Ward through his hands around her waist and started pachenitly  kissing her. "I missed you" he muttered
"Me too" she laughed
Skye through off her top, and unzipped her pants. She kissed him and then threw herself on the bed.
"Playing hard to get eh?" Ward laughed
"It wouldn't be fun any other way" She smiled.
Ward placed his body on top of hers and kissed her fiercely.
"You were right..."
He paused
" It was worth the wait"
A couple of champagne glasses later the two of them were talking about Coulson.
"We HAVE to tell him" Ward sighed
"But..but"
"But what?" He demanded
Skye giggled
"Really Skye?"
"I'm sorry..."
She stopped laughing
" What if he makes us...split?"
" Then we walk" Ward gave her a reassuring smile.
"Alright, let's do it now, rip it off like a..."
"Like a bandaid".
Once the two of them got dressed, they marched over to Coulsons office.
"Can I help you?" Coulson muttered not looking up, he was reading some file on Mike Peterson.
"Yes...um Coulson...I um...we um..."Skye fiddled with her words until  Ward cut her off.
" Sir...me and Skye are...seeing each other"
Coulson put the file down and stared directly into his eyes.
"Repeat" Coulson replied, with a hint of worry in his voice.
"Sir were....active" Ward replied nervously.
"You mean...."
Coulson paused.
"Sex?"
"Yes sir"Ward sounded very nervous.
"Sir...we were gonna tell you but...there was just never a good time" Skye looked  like she was going to cry.
"When did this start?" Coulson asked
"Well....." Ward started
" About 3 months ago, back at the hub"
Then Skye cut him off.
"Sir...there was H.Y.D.R.A everywhere, me and Ward were stuck in a supply closet, and he told me that he was going to go and try to take out as many H.Y.D.R.A agents as he could...I guess we just couldn't help it. We kissed and once the hub/H.Y.D.R.A situation was taken care of we...we um...well"
"We had sex the next night, and after that we just started seeing each other on a regular basis, and eventually we just became a...couple I guess"
"Ok" Coulson replied sounding more calm then ever.
"Wait what?" Skye said sounding surprised.
"I understand...lets just say I was in your shoes once before, in my....youth"
"Thank you sir" Ward sounded very pleased.
The next thing you know the two of them were walking out of Coulson's office. Once Skye was sure Coulson couldn't hear them she slammed Ward against the wall and planted one right on his lips.
"Hey I was thinking....wanna hit the gym...practice some moves?"
Ward paused.
"Wow....you really are the whole package"
"What do you mean?" Skye asked laughing
"Your hot, your an agent, you love the gym, and you actually stayed with me for more than two months"
"Yea" she said
