The story takes place in a little town called Little Rock. There are three girls who have been best friends forever. Their names are Loren, Laura, and Laquetis. Loren is nine and is a little too, you know, a brat. Laura is very controlling. She is sixteen. Laquetis, on the other hand, is twelve. She is very quiet. All these girls want to escape their lives and move to Hawaii. But how will they get there?
They will walk! Of course! How else would you get there? The girls are packing all their things. These include: I toothbrush, toothpaste, and grapes. They slam the door and let everything go. The walk is very long and horrifying. After four long years of walking, they finally made it to the gorgeous beaches of Hawaii. They weren't quite sure of where they were, however. The beach was deserted and didn't look like anyone lived there. Loren was now 13. Laura was now 20, and Laquetis was 16.
"I don't think this is the right place," Loren whined with her snobby attitude. She had been complaining the whole trip. If anyone had a headache, it was sure to be because of her.
Laura responded with an annoyed, "I know, but we might be able to live a great life over here."
All of a sudden, the three girls whipped their heads around when they heard a noise. It didn't sound like an animal, more like human. Who could be over here? All the girls were wondering the same thing when they finally found out who it was.
