"Stop the car!" Jen yelled opening the door while the car was still moving.
Jen ran over to Josh. His forehead had blood all over it. Jen picked him up in her arms and rushed her to the car.
"Kali go to the hospital. Now!" Jen yelled getting in.
Jen sat in the back with Josh's head on her lap.
"Jen?" Josh said faintly. "Jen get me to the hospital. A guy threw something at me."
"We are Josh. Don't worry." Jen said crying.
Jen took her jacket off and wrapped it around his head.
"Jen we're here!" Kali yelled.
They both grabbed Josh and ran inside.
"Jen you keep Josh, I'll find a doctor." Kali said giving Josh to Jen.
Jen sat on the waiting room crying.
"Josh please. Stay alive." Jen said.
Her tears fell on his cheeks. She cried and cried and cried. Josh was able to move his arms. He grabbed her face and kissed Jen.
The doctor came with Kali, a nurse, and a bed. The nurse took Josh. Jen and Kali followed.
"Nobody in unless a friend or related." The doctor said.
"I'm his girlfriend. Jen said.
The doctor let her in.
"Do you know what happened?" The doctor said turning to Jen.
"All I know is this. Kali and I were going to school together. I saw josh get hit with something. Like a brick. He fell tot he ground. I got Kali to stop the car and got out. When I got out the guy left. Then we brought Josh here." Jen said starting to cry.
"You will need to go to the police station later after we take him in to fund the person who did this." The doctor said.
Jen nodded.
"Can I say something to him real quick?" She asked the doctor.
The doctor nodded. She walked over to Josh.
"Josh I need you to live. I don't know what I would do if you die." She said. She then leaned in and kissed him. She let go and turned to the doctor. "Please take care of him. Please try to save him."
He nodded. The nurse escorted Jen back to Kali as they took Josh away. Jen began to cry.
They got back in the car.
"The doctor said to go to the police officer to find the person who hurt them." Jen said.
Kali nodded and they drove to the police station. They walked in and asked for an officer. An officer walked in five minutes later.
"You two are here to find the person who hurt your boyfriend?"
"Yes." Jen said.
"What did he look like?" The officer said pulling out a pen and paper.

What Jen didn't know was the person was closer to her then what she thought.
