Life Lesson #1: Christianity

I have to go with God's flow.

Now, don't run off at the mention of God. I won't bear Him down on you, slather you in His word, and beat you senseless with religious belief. That's not me. That's not God.

Here's life lesson #1:

Christianity is was not meant to be a religion.

I know it sounds weird, it even looks weird, but it's true. Christianity is a walk of life/lifestyle.

The definition of Christianity is to be like Christ.

Christ was never:

·stuck-up. He was kind, loving, open. He never looked down upon people. He saw their worth and helped them see it too.

·overbearing. He may be overwhelming, but he's overwhelming in compassion, love, and grace. He's a pleasurable overwhelming. He doesn't bear his weight upon you. He gives you a choice. He doesn't force you to do anything.

·judging/looking down on others. He saw himself as an equal, not higher, not better, equal. That's why he came to earth. That's why He sent Jesus.

Have you heard of the Holy Trinity? The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Well they're one and the same.

It's hard to understand,so don't try to, trust me you'll give yourself a headache. God, The Father, created it to be that way.

The Father, All Powerful and Highest of Highs, had trouble understanding his people, so he sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to the earth to be born to a man and a woman, which made him human.

Now you might say that he wasn't very human because of the miracles and signs and wonders he performed. Well...that's human.

We, as humans, have, over a long period of time, made ourselves think we are powerless, when, in fact, we are powerful.

God created us just below the angels(ever wonder why we look alike?), but he's given us authority over all things, creatures, etc, including the angels.

I know, WHOA right?

So why don't we have powers?

You do. You've just got to unlock them.

I know this sounds like some superfreaky supernatural teenage fiction book, but please this is real. It's important, trust me I thought so too until God gave me the gift of healing. It's truly awesome. I can feel other's pain-... that will be in chapter 3.5...

That (unlocking and powers(gifts)) will be explained in chapter 3.

·worthless. Now this is very important to me. I see people everyday, even have friends, who believe themselves to be worthless. I don't care who you are or what you've done. You are worth it. You're worth dying for. Jesus died for us all because he knew we were worth it, YOU ARE WORTH IT.

Now, Christianity has been tossed up and down and around by this world, it has gained a worldly definition: To make/force others to be like Christ.

That is NOT Christianity!!!

That is a facade.

I won't call it fake Christianity because I don't believe Christianity can be faked. Christianity is truth.

I believe some people are confused or are so determined to show their 'holiness' that they over do it. Frankly, it's annoying.

Just because two girls are really close doesn't mean they're gay. I've had that problem plenty of times.

And just because I wear bikinis or crop-tops it does not (excuse my language) make me a slut or a whore.

Now showing too much skin is another topic for a later chapter. (Abstinence)

Christ is love.

Christians are supposed to be people whom lost and broken people come to for guidance, comfort, and help.(like Christ)

Please don't let the world define Christianity.

I love you all. Until next time!
