Donnie's point of view

             I'm currently in my lab,  working on a cure for mutagen. My  tongue off to the side, sweating and being careful with my vials and mixtures.

Though, I can never seem to get any  quiet around this place anymore.

             "AHHH! HELP ME PLEASE!!" I was startled  by the scream and fumbled with my  vial that  could possibly explode or be like acid and  burn my skin.

But  it exploded, of course.

             My eye twitched and I  walked out with  black on my  face, my hands and  top of my  plastron. "Can you guys PLEASE, stop rough housing and be  SILENT  SO I CAN DO MY WORK!" I  glared and looked at Raph who was giving Mikey a noogy.

           The room went  silent for a moment. "I'm so close to getting  my cure, and I cant  finish it without being startled." I saw their faces change to a bit of a guilty look. I guess I had a sad look. I knew April was still mad at us. But I also knew I didn't stand a chance with her. I have April on my mind 24-7.

          Her freakles ,  her medium tan, her pretty eyes, and redish orange hair. She was  an angel in my eyes. I liked her though I have trouble telling her that. Every time I try , I fumble with words or don't make any sense at all. Was there anyone out there in the world like me, akward , smart, likes me?

           'No,  probably not like us. Human. Though Mikey's new girl is turtle, making me wonder, she came from the TCRIS. So did Y/n'  I thought. "Speaking of Y/n." I turned around and looked  down at her  hugging my  leg. Four years old, and already a smart kid.

            Its going to get her far in life. "Ewo Uncle Donnie!" She smiled up at me and  gave me a  small toothed  grin. I couldn't help but grin back and pick her up.

           She hugged me  and  rested her head on my  shoulder, I  patted her shell and softly  smiled crookedly.

So small and sweet to love.

 Oppisite of Raph, though they  look close enough like blood  family.

 I heard her breathing soften and  found myself holding her asleep.

          Walking out I looked at Raph, giving him  a mouthing I was taking her to bed. He  nodded and smiled at her. "Sleep tight little princess.." Raph said high enough to just hear from a distance.

          I walked up and  opened  Raph's door, and set her down in her slightly bigger upgrade of a crib. She whimpered and I frowned and looked down at Y/n. I  brushed her H/c hair out of her face, then I  kissed her  cheek. Then covered her up, she was so small, so cute, a member of the family that we are sworn to protect.

        Shutting the door, but not fully, I turned around to almost have a heart attack seeing Leo so close. Leo  stared  at the door and opened it a bit to  look at Y/n. "What are you doing?" Leo grunted and just looked down. "Nothing." I  said shushed.

       "April's coming over with her cousin." He said and looked at me. "I heard she likes science and engeneering too." I raised a brow and grinned thinking about another chance!  But then that  thought faded , April is human, which means her cusin must be too. Leo looked at Y/n standing there with an almost blank expression that gave me the chills.  I walked past him to the sound of the door opening and closing.

        "Well, what do you know, right on time."  Jogging down the steps I looked at the door peeking with my eyes slightly till I saw the most beautiful face ever. Past April was a girl with glasses, a beanie hat, a green scarf and a nice knitted sweater around herself. But her hair looked like a yummy color of cream, and her eyes, oh don't even get me started on those ey-.
