Excuse me?

Chapter 5

Isn't he one of the guys that was with Victoria at the movies, but the one that was alone. I shold've noticed his hair. I can't believe zean looked so comfortable with him and they had just met.

"Uh.. hi, can I have my cat?" I wanted to hold zean, I mean I haven't seen him in over two months.

"Tommy is your cat?" he looked surprised, but what surprised me was his name Tommy. I couldn't help but think of him. I really miss him, it's been about 6 months.

"His name is not Tommy, it's zean" I grabbed zean from his arms and holded him. I really did missed him.

"Nice name, his a nice cat" I put zean on the ground and he started walking towards my dads house.

"He actually is" i remember the day I got him. He was so tiny and adorable. I turned around and started walking back home to unpack. I should've left most of my stuff back home, but how was I supposed to know that he had bought me all of that.

When I got inside my dad was making dinner. It actually smelled really nice. I was going to go inside the kitchen and ask if he needed but decided not to. I opened my bedroom door and started unpacking.

.............................. one hour later..............

"Zoe, can I come in?" I heard Victoria ask from the other side of the door.

"sure" I got up and unlocked the door. i usually locked my door when I wanted to be alone, don't we all do that?

"Hey, dinner is ready and the neighbors are about to get here" Victoria sat down in one of the bean bags. She was dressed with a nice pink skirt, a white dressy shirt and a pair of pink flats.

"Okay, thanks" I was about to go out the door when Victoria stopped me.

"Aren't you going to change?" I guess she expected me to change, but I was too lazy. Plus there was nothing wrong with what I was wearing. I shook my head and went downstairs.

"What the hell are you wearing?" I looked over at Jessica and my dad and saw that they were both also dressed nicely. My dad gave Jessica a disapproval look by the way she talked me to.

"I believe I'm wearing clothes" I looked down at what I was wearing. I had jeans, a grey hoodie and a pair of white low converse.

"Don't answer me like that" she looked pissed. I smirked at her, she can't stand people being sassy with her just like my mom. This is actually not going to be that bad I thought.

"You asked and I didn't want to leave your question unanswered, now if you will excuse me I'm starving" I walked around her not waiting for her to answer. I sat down in the table and grabbed a little bit of some chicken, and some salad. I didn't get anything else because I didn't know what it was.

"Is that all your going to eat?" I looked over and saw my dad standing there giving me a playful disapproval look. I think he knew that I didn't know what it was but just wanted to play around.

" You know I don't know what the rest is" I gave him a embarrassed smile. It's pretty embarrassing not knowing what something is.

"I know, I'm just playing around. I think you will like orange rice and beans" he pointed to the rest of the food.

"Not a big fan of beans and not to be rude or anything but the orange rice doesn't look appetizing, sorry" I was pretty much done with my food anyways and I was getting full.

"It's okay. I'm sorry I should've asked what you wanted to eat" he smiled embarrassed. I laughed a little and shook my head. When I was going to respond the bell rang. I guess Victoria or Jessica opened the door because I heard a couple of voices.
