Yoongi stood from their bed, stumbling slightly. The alcohol still pounding through his veins had made it hard to walk straight.

Maybe he shouldn't have drank so much. Then again. though, it wouldn't have mattered.

The boy watched Nari sleep for a while, taking in her beautiful face.

For a moment, Yoongi wished he could just stay in bed and watch her sleep, like he normally did. But things were different now.

Yoongi left their apartment, still stumbling every now and again. He made his way up to the roof, sighing at the cold air.

It was always so beautiful in Daegu. Yoongi often found himself sitting on the roof, writing songs, and other times just watching the cars, and people, and lights. Of course though, that all ended.

The young man sat on the edge of the building, paying no mind to the overwhelming urge to jump.

The chilly wind made goosebumps raise across his arms and legs. Yoongi was glad, for a moment, that he had been drinking. Otherwise, it would have been a lot colder.

Yoongi looked down at his feet as they dangled from the six story building. He wondered what it would feel like to fall so far down. He wondered what it would feel like to die.

"Relief." He mumbled, fumbling with the contents of his coat pockets.

Yoongi heard the sudden strain of metal on the door behind him. And soon after, footsteps. He knew exactly who it was.

"What are you doing?" Nari's voice broke the silence on the rooftop.

"Nothing," he sighed.

The woman sat beside him, resting her head on his shoulder.

"You should go back to bed." Yoongi stated, a dull ache filling his chest.

"Not until you do."

The young man sighed heavily, looking at the tired girl. He wanted to see her smile again. He wanted to watch the sadness melt away. He wanted her to be happy again. But he had ruined that.

"Go back to bed, Nari." Yoongi frowned. "Please."

She shook her head, trying to hide her yawn.

"Nari, please,"

"Not until you come back to bed." The girl stated stubbornly.

"I'm not coming back to bed."

"Why not?"

Yoongi's breath hitched. He knew why, but it was a matter of if he should tell her or not.

He groaned, tugging at his hair. He felt tears well up in his eyes. He held them back.

Suddenly, the girl stood.

"What's wrong with you, Yoongi?"

Yoongi didn't turn to look at her. He knew he couldn't. Every time he looked at her, he saw what he had done. He saw all that he destroyed and for once, he wasn't proud of his work.

"Why are you crying?" Nari reached out, a small frown on her face.

"Everything is falling apart, Nari."

Yoongi stood up, balancing precariously on the edge of the building.

"Nothing is right anymore and I still can't figure out what went wrong!" The man yelled, tears beginning to fall from his chin.

"I'm trying to keep going and fix whatever the hell is going on here but every time I touch it it crumbles. I just want things to go back to the way they were! When you were happy and I wasn't a raging drunk."

Nari stood in her place, pain filling her chest as she watched the boy fall apart.

"Nari," Yoongi spoke suddenly, his voice softer than before.

She looked up at him once again.

"I can't do this anymore."

Nari's heart dropped. She shook her head, immediately knowing where this situation was heading.

"No,"

Yoongi stepped towards her, a small smile hiding the immense pain in his heart.

"I love you."

He cupped her face, hesitating slightly before kissing her softly.

Nari grasped his wrists, not wanting him to step away.

The girl felt tears touch her cheek, but wasn't sure whose they were. But I guess, it didn't really matter.

Yoongi pulled away, still that sickeningly sweet grin on his lips. Yet, there were tears in his eyes.

Nari stared at the boy, committing his face to memory. The beautiful boy with blue-black hair and pale skin. Nari couldn't look away.

She shook her head, refusing to release his wrists.

"Please, you're drunk. Come back inside." Nari sobbed, clutching his arms tighter.

"Go back to bed. It'll be better in the morning." Yoongi still smiled, even as the love of his life sobbed before him.

Nari shook her head more vigorously.

"No," she choked, "This isn't a dream!" She paused, tear after tear dripping from her beautiful face. "I'm going to wake up tomorrow and you're not going to be there!"

Yoongi's smile faltered.

"I need you, Yoongi!" She pulled him closer. "I'm lost without you!"

His head fell, the soft sound of rain beginning to drop onto the concrete of the roof calmed him.

"I'm sorry." Yoongi sighed, quickly pulling out of her grasp.

He jumped up to the cement siding, glancing down at the ground below him.

"I'm so sorry."

Yoongi opened his arms, and fell.

"No!" Nari raced to the edge, reaching out, but to no avail. "Yoongi!"

The girl screamed, quickly turning her head before he hit the ground. Nari felt a darkness engulf her body, suffocating her as she leaned against the cement siding.

"My light," She cried, watching as a crowd began to form around the boy's body.

"My beautiful light," Nari closed her eyes. "What have you done?"
