Chapter 1
*Sydney POV*
I was writing in my diary when Mrs.Jackson, the lady who runs the foster care building, came in my room. I quickly closed my book and looked at her. She smiled at me, her ugly ass smile sickens me.
Mrs.Jackson: Sydney it's time.
Sydney: time?
Mrs.Jackson: Your new home with the Westbrooks. They're both lesbians so don't judge, got it? *She assured me. I nodded and started packing my stuff. I even made sure I got my diary too. I walked out the building and saw a lady with curly orange brownish hair with a curve body. She was really pretty. Anyways I walked towards the woman and she smiled at me.*
Crystal: Hey my name is Crystal Westbrook! You must be Sydney. *she said giving me a hug. Even her voice was sweet. I hope she is better than the other family I've been with. I got in the car and we drove to my new home. Me and Crystal talked about our lives. I was born January 31, 1998 in Louisiana but raised in California. My mom died because my dad killed her in front of me when I was 13. So my dad is in prison, thank god because he is an abusive father since I was born. Always hurting me and my mom, well mostly my mom. I miss her so much but she is in a better place now. Then I got into Foster Care and that was a shit hole. I'm glad I'm finally out again! As we reached to the house my eyes widened. It was a mansion and it was gorgeous. I got all my stuff and brought them inside. I looked around and it was like I was even bigger. Then I saw a girl with long thick black hair and looked Indian looking. She was pretty as well. She was on couch watching basketball. Crystal rolled her eyes and turned off the TV. The girl turned to us.*
Crystal: India this is Sydney. Did you forget that she was coming?
India: of course not babe! Hey!
Sydney: Hi.
Crystal: Sydney let me show you your room. *Crystal took my hand and dragged my room. It was big and beautiful. It already had my name and everything on it that I love. My room was baby blue, my favorite, and had a big king size bed. It was a dream come true. I turned to Crystal and smiled.*
Sydney: Thank you for showing me to my new room, I love it.
Crystal: Your welcome. You need help unpacking?
Sydney: No thanks I'll be fine.
Crystal: Okay and dinner will be at 8:00 but right now it's 6:35 so yeah.
Sydney: Okay I'll be ready about 7.
Crystal: Good, if you need anything just come to me.
Sydney: Got it. *I smiled and she left my room. I went to my diary and started writing. I love writing, rapping, dancing, and basketball it's my life but writing is my passion. I would write if I'm mad, sad, happy, or just whatever I just love it. I stop writing and start unpacking. It was about 8:00 by now and I was still unpacking. Its a lot of stuff.*
Crystal: Sydney! Dinner!
Sydney: Coming!*I quickly ran downstairs and sat down at the table. Crystal shared out food and sat down. India was about to eat but Crystal stop her. I knew for sure that we were going to prayed. Then we held hands and prayed. Then when it was done we ate. Crystal made grilled chicken with yellow rice, carrots , and mashed potato.*
India: So Sydney, you like basketball?
Sydney: Yeah.
India: Sweet then we can play outside sometime like one on one.
Sydney: Sure.
Crystal: okay enough about sports! Lets talk about rules.
India: Babe do I have to listen?!
