Ayana's Point of View

As I opened my eyes slowly, all I can see was a blur. I see a white wall, couch, and an IV that hooked up on me. Why am I in the hospital?

After a few minutes, someone is knocking on the door.

It was a guy. He is wearing a black shirt and a blue jeans. He is pretty simple. I like his hair though especially the pointy nose and dark brown eyes. Who is he?

"Hi. How are you feeling" he said while looking in my eyes.

"Well, I am confused right now, but I am fine."

He can't be my doctor.

"I am sorry, but do I know you?"

He smiled.

"No, but I was in the same place as you were and all of a sudden you fainted. It was a good thing I was there, but I was too late to catch you, so i immediately brought you to the hospital." He explained.

I thought I'm the only one in that place! I guess it was a good thing that he was there.

And I fainted? Maybe because I was crying really bad and I can't remember if I ate anything.

"Oh. I really appreciate what you did. Thank you Mr..."

"I'm sorry, let me formally introduce myself, I am Clementine Santiago"

Hmm. Clementine. That's a nice name.

"Thank you again Mr. Santiago, I am Ayana Rodriguez"

" Please call me Clementine"

"Okay, Clementine"

After a few seconds, someone is knocking on the door.

She is wearing a blue blouse and slacks underneath her white medical coat.

"Hi Ayana. I will be your doctor for the today. How are you?"

"I'm good doctor. I just want to know if there's something I need to worry about?"

"No, not at all. I've checked everything to see if you have any injuries. I did MRI and X-tray and so far, I didn't see anything serious, so I just want you to gain your strength before I discharge you. Okay?"

Oh thank God. That's a relief.

"Oh good. Thank you doctor. So can I go home tomorrow morning then?"

She looked at me for a few seconds.

"That depends on you, Ayana. If you want to go home tomorrow, then you better rest and gain your strength."

"Yes doctor. I definitely will."

She smiled at me and Clementine and then walked to the door.

I looked at Clementine again

"Thank you again for bringing me to the hospital."

He smiled again.

He has a very charming smile.

"No problem Yana."

"Uhh its Ayana. A-Y-A-N-A"

"Oh I know, but i like Yana. It suits you"

Okay? I don't even know him and he's giving me nicknames?

I got a little bit annoyed, but I let it go since he brought me to the hospital. I kinda owe him.

I suddenly remembered Adrian.

Wheres my phone?

"Clementine, do you know where's my bag?"

"Oh yeah, give me a sec"

He walks to the drawer besides the TV and takes out my bag.

He handed out to me with a smile.

I immediately checked my phone if there's any update about Adrian. Unfortunately, there's none.

"Hey, why are you sad?" He asked.

" Nothing "

I lay down on my right side, away from clementine.

"You're not okay though..."

"Im just tired"

He hold my hand.

I was shocked that i look at him.

"I can feel that you're not just tired. I can feel that its deeper than that. Well, I know were barely know each other, but I'm here for you if you need someone to talk to. "

I was just looking at him while he say those words

All my life,  I'm trying to look tough and fine.

No one can tell that I'm sad, lonely, and in pain on the inside besides Adrian and ... Him.
