I hated you with every shattered bone in my body. I hated the way I let you mold me into an untrusting, worried mess. I hated that every time I heard your name my heart and mind became a whirlwind of pain. One day I woke up, & I realized you don't deserve my feelings. You don't get the pleasure of destroying me. You don't have the right to torment my heart and mind. And so finally I've chosen to forgive you. I've chosen to be at peace when I hear your name. But now you're nothing. Completely extinguished from my life as if you never existed.
