Y/n's p.o.v

Monday 11:50 a.m

It had been a whole day since I got here at the mansion I was heading to have my first lunch here it'll be a first not cooking for or with my brothers I'm kinda starting to miss them

I got to the cafeteria and saw a lot of tables a huge window and in the background were some trees and flowers, I wasn't sure where to sit I was looking at where everyone was sitting it didn't seem like we had to sit somewhere specific

I was trying to find my new friends I didn't see them anywhere I walked around for a bit still not sure where to sit I sighed "maybe I'll just be sitting on my own today" I mumbled to myself

I went to go sit down at a table in the far right corner I sat in silence and ate my lunch "how come your sitting over here by yourself?" Someone walked over to the table I looked up to see who it was "oh hey tiffany I'm just sitting here by myself because I couldn't find you girls anywhere" I replied and put a grape in my mouth

"Oh I'm so sorry we were getting ready that's what we do every afternoon we help each other get ready for the battles ahead" she sat down in front of me "oh so what do you do each morning?" I asked "well we're usually in casual clothes but when it comes to quarter to noon we get ready" I nodded

"So I'm guessing you don't have battles in the morning?" She laughed 'no of course not nobody wants to get up have breakfast then do a battle that would be to much work for a person" she explained

"Oh ok" she stood up "I'll be right back I'm going to go get some lunch" I nodded I sat in silence again "mmm lunch looks so good today hey y/n?" A rather cheerful voice sat next to me "yeah I guess it is peach" I continued to eat my lunch "why so gloomy today y/n" peach asked worry in her voice

"Oh it's nothing" I looked out the window to my left "no it's not nothing youhave to tell me besties don't keep secrets from besties" she said like a child "it's ...... it's j-just" I stuttered trying to hold in my tears "just what?" Peach put a arm around my shoulder and with her left hand she gently rubbed my arm "I-i-i j-just....... I'm missing my brothers I want to see them again" I started to sob quietly into her shoulder "oh I see your homesick" she hugged me with both arms and put her head on top of mine

"Oh whats wrong with y/n?" A gentle voice asked "she's feeling a little homesick rosa" peach told her "oh ... we all have those days especially if we have no one else from are own game here with us" I could hear her walk over to my right and hug me "I-i t-think I'm ok now" I sniffled a little and they stopped hugging me

"Here you go I have some extra napkins so you can blow your nose" rosa handed me a couple napkins I blew my nose "thanks" I got up and threw away the napkins I walked back over to the table "oh what happened y/n? Your eyes are red" a worried palutena asked

"I was just a little homesick I guess" I sat down "oh I'm sorry you must have these days a lot because you lost your parents two years ago" she put her hand over mine but I was confused "what do you mean? ..... I've only been homesick twice" she now looked confused "weren't you an only child?" "No ...... I have two twin brothers the oldest is ace middle child kolton I'm the youngest" I finished eating my lunch

"Oh well you have a lively house" she began to eat her food again "yeah I guess so" I went to go put my tray away "oh hey y/n" samus said as she picked up her tray "hey samus" I began to walk back to the table "so you're finished eating already?" We sat down she sat across from me

"Well you did come late" "oh yeah I guess that's far ... but what did you talk about while I was getting ready?" "Nothing much" she nodded "heeey girls" robina sat down with a full tray "hey robina" we all said "so what did you girls talk about without me?" "Nothing" I said "oh that's boring lets talk about something else hmm how about ..... todays match up's?" She suggested "yeah ok" we all said "ok well link vs meta knight is a good match It makes me wonder whos better but it's not about who's better it's about having fun and having good sportsmanship" robina said

"The one I'm looking forward to is falco vs donkey kong sure dk may not have a good recovery but you got to keep an eye on him" palutena budded in "oh I'm intrested in dr mario vs lucario that ones a good one" peach also said "hey what are we talking about?" Luci sat down with her tray "about todays match ups" rosa told her

"Oh well the one I wanna see is y/n vs pit" what? Who's pit? Is it the one dark pit called "pit-stain"? "Oh pit is the one who looks like dark but he wears white instead of black" peach told me "better watch out y/n he's fast" tiffany told me I hope I win my first public battle...
