Your pov

I sat by a tree trying to catch my breath.I've been running away from O'Khasis guards all day.I assumed they want to catch me for my power.I made sure that the hood to my f/c cloak was on properly.I took a drink of water before hearing footsteps.

They found me already?

I grabbed my Divine f/c sword and stood up quietly.I came out from behind the tree and attacked.I knocked out 5 guards but even more came.

I was outnumbered.

"Give up,fighting isn't going to get you anywhere.You're outnumbered.Even your magicks won't help you",an O'Khasis guard told me.

"Get off the lady",I heard a male voice say.

I looked over and there stood a brunette and a blonde.

"You Phoenix Drop guards are annoying.Get out of here.This is O'Khasis business",a guard said before getting slashed by the brunette's sword.

The blond and the brunette began fighting them.A dozen guards quickly dropped before my eyes,in a matter of seconds.

I got my sword and helped them out.

Before we knew it,there was only 6 guards left.

"You got us this time.But don't think we won't be coming back.You'll never be safe as long as you have those powers",an O'Khasis guard said while looking at me before they retreated.

The brunette and the blonde put their swords away and walked over to me.

"So what did they want with you?",the blonde asked politely.

"They're after my magicks",I replied.

"I see.If you want,your welcome to join Phoenix Drop.We'll try to protect you as much as possible",he said.

His eyes were an icy blue and I could tell he was truly sincere on what he said.

"Allow us to introduce ourselves",the brunette started.

"I'm Laurence,second in command guard of Phoenix Drop",he said.

"I'm Garroth,head guard of Phoenix Drop",Garroth said.

"I'm Y/n.It's a pleasure to meet you both",I smiled,though with my hood on,I'm not sure if they could see it.

"What a beautiful name",Laurence said as he grabbed my hand and kissed it.

"Y/n if I may ask,why do you have a hood",Garroth said.

I removed my hood.

"I was hoping the O'Khasis guards would mistake me for someone else,but that didn't work",I chuckled.

"Apparently.Well,let's head to Phoenix Drop",Laurence said.

The walk was mostly quiet,except for Laurence occasionally asking about my past and my magicks.

"I'll take you to Lord Aphmau to talk to her about you living here",Laurence said.

"Alright",we began to walk over to a purple house on a hill.

Garroth's pov

As Laurence and Y/n walked off I headed to the guard tower.

"How was patrol?",Dante said as I entered.
"While we were going around the village one more time,we spotted some O'Khasis guards surrounding a girl,so naturally we went to help",I responded.
"Is she ok?",Dante looked concerned.
"Yeah,she's fine.Her and Laurance are actually talking to Aphmau about her staying her.She's nice and has a element of mystery to her",I said.
"Maybe I'll go introduce myself to her",Dante said.
"Go for it,I'm sure you'd like her",I smiled.
