Chapter 2

I have been in this jeep for 6 hours.We have stopped a few times at gas stations but beside that,6 hours.That equals 6 hours of no talking,no stopping,no turning back.I have stilled continue to look at the window.We suddenly stop.A bright Motel light burns my eyes.The Motel looks okay but the parking lot was almost full with cars.We found a parking spot a few feet away from the main office.We all enter the deserted office and Spencer ask for a room.I turn from the desk and see there is an Amber Alert for a missing child.

My high school photo then popped up on the screen.They think I was abducted?Well,I kinda was.Out of the corner of my eye,I see the boy watching too.A very worried expression comes across his face.I then turn to see the office worker looking at the screen,then looking at me."I'll be right back sir,"the worker says walking to the back.He recognized me.The boy takes my hand,nods at Spencer, and takes me to the car.
