1. Never dig straight down (also first rule of Minecraft :)
2. When using redstone torches, put power to the block that their on to turn them off
3. When using any type of finisher for redstone (such as a dropper or piston) make sure the power goes to the top of the block.
4.Cobblestone is resistant to Ghast fireballs.
5.Transparent blocks such as glass, iron bars, and fences (on sides) don't allow torches to be placed on them.
6.Pressure plates don't allow water or lave to flow past them
7.Ice placed under Soulsand makes the player go even slower in it.
8.When a torch is placed under sand, the sand will fall and break on the torch!
9.Torchs can hold any amount of weight on them if the sand is placed on afterwards
10.Water placed on ice allows items in the water to move faster.
