1D's break: A diary

January 7 2016: day 7

Things have been quiet in the fandom today.

Louis and Danielle has apparently left the resort, but does that mean they are still in France?

Billboard released an interview with Zayn. Can I just say how Zayn slayed the covers. Amazing. Billboard also said the 1D break first begins in March, AREN'T THESE MONTHS COUNTED. DOES THAT MEAN THE 18 MONTHS HASN'T BEGUN YET?! So basically, the break will be even longer.

But back to the Zayn interview.

He has some interesting things to say, but honestly you can check that out yourself, here is just some things, because honestly I didn't understand even half of the interview.

- he hasn't heard Made In The A.M. He thinks the first was quite cool, the he heard the second single and "yeah, I didn't buy the album".

- Liam "would always give me credit in terms of vocal ability" Ziam am I right?

- some of his songs from his album are called: 'she' 'BeFour' 'it's you' and 'wrong'

Heartbreaking. I quote.
'Looking ahead to his debut LP - and the much-fretted-over hiatus that 1D intends to begin in March - Malik downplays any rivalry between himself and his old mates. "There are no sides to pick," he says. "We're not going head-to-head."
Still, Malik's not sure he'll have "four friends for life", as he wrote when he quit. "The truth of it is", he says carefully, "you can think one thing about a situation and the total opposite can happen. I had every intention of remaining friends with everybody, but I guess certain phone numbers have changed and I haven't received calls from a lot of people. I've reached out to a few of them and not got a reply. Certain people have pride issues, but it's stuff you overcome in time".

Am I the only one thinking 'Louis' lol.

And then there is something we kind of already knew, but it still hurts. I quote again.
"We weren't allowed to say certain things, or word [lyrics] the way we would want to", says Malik. "I'd sit and wonder, 'if the fans knew how it worked, what would they think?' My argument was: people are more intelligent than that. They want to hear what's real, so why don't we write some stuff that we're actually going through?"

- "I was raised by a lot of woman, so there's nothing any fan girl could've ever taught me about woman" he says. "I fully understood every person who'd come and see the band, because I have crazy aunties and crazy sisters who would fan-girl over actors. If people can't have something, they want it."

-Zayn also described what he is looking for in a relationship.
"I need a challenge. Also, I like girls that are a bit chunky in certain areas - the nice areas. I like fuller woman. I enjoy an intellectual conversation as well, where someone can construct a sentence beyond what hair and makeup they're wearing, and talk about something political or about the world. I like n opinion."

Well, I know nothing about makeup but I don't anything about politics either, so that might be a problem.

- 'Malik has a new gratitude for his fans, and more patience when it comes to stuff like posing for photos. " it's a bit different now because they're there for just me," he says. "I can't jump in a car and be like: 'yeah! Just take a picture with one of them boys.' I want to do it now."

Good to know just in case I see him walking around in the streets of Denmark. It will be nice to know he is annoyed.

But basically the interview was very interesting.

The boys will be in an episode of Family Guy called 'Run, Chris, Run". It will air in May. Long time I know.

Niall tweeted about him still being here and for us not to worry. He is 'keeping my head down and enjoying the break' so that is good to know. I haven't seen him either so he is good at hiding lol.
